Accom - hotel MK has good service and decent pricing. Girl friendly.

Makan - restaurant monsoon, prices a bit steep by yangon standards, around 15usd per pax. Great environment, provision of english menu for laos/thai/myanmar/cambodia/western cuisine. Still very vibrant when we left at about 930pm.

JJ - as described in previous posts. Pretty crowded for a weekday, and quite warm! Suggestion: arrive before the fashion show starts and request for a table near the air con.

Hmmm... The waiter introduced by bro verytired played a critical role in an environment with minimal common language. My friend was lucky to get one who could speak english quite well. For me, I needed the waiter to bridge the gap. The tipping to the right waiter was crucial. Definitely made the whole experience less scary.
