Wake up, bros. The first obstacles you are going to face is your parents. As most Singapore older generation frown upon Thai girl due to their reputation in GL. Second obstacles is applying PR for you TG wife. I can tell you it is no joy ride. They will make you apply like 5 times before they approved. Thirdly, keeping her happy in Singapore. As they are alone and speak very english, it is hard for them to be integrate into our society.
I do not have Thai wife but still a foreign wife( sorry, not going to reveal nationality). I have to work double hard to maintain the relationship.

I think you've blown this out of proportion. The issue here now is compare apples to apples. Oranges to oranges. Not how to judge an individual's occupation preference. I live my own life. I don't care about what the next government policy is.
I've nothing against adventurous entrepreneur Singaporeans striking out on their own by not having 'normal' jobs. But does that mean in order to get fast money every Singapore male has to be a gigolo, pimp, bookie, loanshark or drug dealer? Singapore female to be a mistress, club girl or prostitute? I hope not.
I've never said all WLs and club girls are bad people. Their choice of occupation is none of my business also. Do I look down on them? No. I only detest those 'bad' ones. That's all.

The true survivors are not the WL. Give credit to those without looks, figure, education level. They work their way from washing plates, sitting tables and other "not-so-well-to-paid" jobs. Of course, they might have an easier way out if they are borned prettier.
As for WL who chose to use their body to earn their money, there is nothing wrong with that. They have their dreams to pursue and ambitions to fulfil. But often, things don't really work out the way they want it and even after years of business for them, you will realise that their dreams and ambitions are still not fulfilled.
