Re: DSC Scary Result...

Hey Guys. Remember to do any HIV testing anonymously. Easiest way is through the Action for Aids anonymous testing at DSC on a Saturday afternoon (or Tuesday, Wed Evening). They dont ask for your name at all, just allocate a number to you. Check out Action for AIDS.
Otherwise I am not sure what the government do once they are notified. At least you have more control of the situation, if you find out on anonymous basis.

Let's say after anonymous HIV test, you discovered that you are HIV positive. What are you going to do about it? You'll probably need to seek help from a doctor in order to prolong your life, right? Unless you seek treatment overseas, any doctors in Singapore will need to notify the government. What's the point of doing an anonymous test then?

Re: DSC Scary Result...

hi bros, there is a free hiv testing at smu campus

time: 2-6pm

date: 20 jan sunday

do drop by. It will take 10 minutes to know the results, using oral swabs.

The afa volunteers are friendly and wun take your name or ic down.

To bros who cheong: it's better for u to go for the test as u need to be responsible to yourself , your future wife, gf n family. Also, if we dun go for the test, everyday we may think that there is a possibility of being infected, when in fact, we r hiv negative.

So just bite the bullet n take the tes. No matter what the result is, at least u know the answer
