Re: Huizhou Recommendations
Yes in fact I have one good recommendation for you to watch World Cup matches. Since you like big screens you can try watching the matches outside Hui Hua Hotel's huge outdoor LCD screen at night. Big enough?

Re: Danshui (DS) Recommendations
good sharing bro. I want to add to your points but unfortunately your last post is more than 2 days old.
I love this town too. saunas are everywhere and just a short walking distance between one another. so much cheaper than dongguan. although quality also lower, there are so many gals that you are bound to find some you like. will come back soon to do shuangfei...lots of.

Re: Danshui (DS) Recommendations
Thanks, bro bigboobman – glad to see your posting. I was beginning to wonder why no one responded or contributed, thinking that maybe DS is not so popular after all. Or maybe DS lovers are too shy to share.
You are absolutely right – in DS’s SNs “there are so many gals that you are bound to find some you like” and I would rate the best one I had as good as I get any where – including Macao! She was in the 400cat, but she didn’t last long as she was already “baoed” on my next visit, although we still keep in touch on QQ. One bro asked me if there is any BBSs in DS, like those in CP. I heard that there were a few BBSs, but I have not visited any so unable to give any first hand info. Moreover, there are so many SNs now offering gals for 70mins for the price of BBSs (150-180) with the trained regular gals in clean hotel rooms, so the “traditional BBSs” (usually with basic room and common shower facilities) will find it hard to compete. And there are OKTs who can offer factory gals (150; I’ve tried with mixed results) and even local Hakka gals (but I never tried before because I heard that they are usually young and a bit spoilt, therefore not worth the time.) |

Re: Danshui (DS) Recommendations
Paiseh, bros, for not answering earlier – I do not log into sbf everyday – but to answer the questions posted, as well as the PM I received from another bro about traveling to DS from the nearby airports and towns, I will give the following info about traveling to DS.
From Macao – my apologies, bro myluckyguy, I have never done this route – so, this is at best based on my “hearsay” and limited knowledge. With the notorious long queue at Zhuhai crossing, my suggestion will be to take the direct ferry from Macao to Shenzhen – but the one hour trip from New Macau Ferry Terminal will take you to the Shekou District of Shenzhen (see: http://www.xunlongferry.com/e-pwzx.asp for the schedule) and you will then need to make your way to Lowu to take the bus to DanShui. There is also ferry service to Fuyong Terminal near Shenzhen Airport but I would not recommend this since it is further away from Lowu and there is no direct bus to DS from Shenzhen Airport. From HongKong – this is similar to making your way to CP via Lowu. So, from HKIA, you can take the cheap BusA43 to SheungShui and then KCR to Lowu. From downtown, then just hop on the KCR to Lowu. At Lowu, after clearing the customs, the bus terminal will be to your right as you exit the check-point building. (In contrast, you would have turn left to head to the train station if you are going to CP.) The bus terminal is actually located under the Commercial Building where you get all the fake goods, and the bus going to DS is the one closest to the Lowu check-point building and it is right there after the security screen. Just ask to make sure since there are buses going to DayaBay. There should be a bus at every 20mins interval and the ticket cost RMB40 – there are compartments for large luggage and the 75mins trip will take you to the “Flower Street” terminal at DS that is close (about 10 mins walk) to New Regent Hotel and KaiCheng Street. From Shenzhen – there is no direct bus from Shenzhen BaoAn Airport to DS. The easiest and cheapest way is to take the airport bus to Lowu and take the bus as described above. There is a direct bus from SZ BaoAn Airport to Huizhou, but this bus also stopped at a couple of other towns and you still need to take the shuttle bus from HZ to DS – thus, I would recommend going via Lowu. The other option will be to arrange for private car, but I have not done this and would guess it to cost around RMB500. From Guangzhou – there is no direct bus to DS from Guangzhou BaiYun Airport. You can either take the Express Bus from the airport to HZ and then take the frequent shuttle bus to DS, or take the Airport Express Bus to GZ’s Tianhe District and from Tianhe Bus Terminal you can take the bus to DS. I would recommend the later. From CP – there used to be a bus service between CP & DS, but this was discontinued due to lack of passengers – perhaps not enough cheongsters making their ways to DS But there is still a direct bus from CP to HZ and from there shuttle bus to DS. However, personally, I find it easier to get on the GuangShen Express train to Lowu and then take the bus from Lowu to DS if I’m alone. The private taxi from CP to DS will cost you RMB250/300 (from my memory, best to double check) and maybe a more economical option if you have three traveling together. Also, for bros who are familiar with ZMT, there is a bus from ZMT Bus Terminal to DS, but this is a “slow bus” taking the scenic route with many stops, including LiLing & ChenJiang and cost about RMB45. Hope the above helps. Other bros who have been to DS may have other better suggestions or comments. |

Re: Danshui (DS) Recommendations
Bro francined69, I don’t go to KTVs too often in DS and therefore don’t know this one. Can you let me know where is this? Thanks.

Re: Danshui (DS) Recommendations
Economy wise you can take the public bus (half an hour) or a taxi to the Xiangzhou bus terminal and then take a coach(3 hours) direct to Danshui 100rmb.
There is no direct coach to Danshui from Gongbei. |
