My cousins staying in Ipoh used to drive up to cheong Danok almost every other weekend for several years....... but they stopped doing that since last year because it is not worth it anymore.

Now they drive down to KL and take Air Asia flight to cheong AC every other weekend

........ so very much cheaper and more bang for the buck

Agreed...Danok has lost its original "value for money" attraction. But..Angeles City or Clarke Airbase is fast becoming another "less value for money" place and getting spoilt now...

Yes.... very true..... but at least it is very very much cheaper than Danok and can still tahan to cheong for another year or two before it becomes like Danok.

Btw some of the Angmo bar owners in AC have become pioneers and are testing out another place in the Philippines....... they have oredi opened a few bars + hotel + eateries there hoping to turn that place into another Pattaya / AC

Hope they can succeed so that we will have another cheap playground.

my group plan to go Danok on September 1st, it fall of 3rd hari raya, if any experience bro here know....is the rate for puying & hotel will rise up or maintain as usual? and normally during this festive raya...many crowd or less?

hi all

my buddie & me (2 pax) will be heading to danok for the FIRST time on either 7th or 8th Sept.
Will be going there from Hattyai.
Any frenly forces wanna go together ?
any chiongsters/regulars will there there to guide us ?
it will be a 1 day 1 night party.. really hope it will be happening and not disappointing..

any kind soul ?

The rate for Puying and Hotel will definitely increase. Imagine this, during the holiday in Malaysia, all the hamsap cheongster will flock into Danok and Hatyai. Of course, the Thai will squeeze the Malaysian money

Sorry, me not going this week and i think Bro Lim and Girl lover are there these few days. Hehehe, you ,next week in Danok and they are over there this week.....what a near miss !!!.

Frankfurt, me ?. I only know about franks ( sausages ) and frankestein ( zombie ). Hehehe.

White meat , me ?. Sorry, i only tried Canadians and American ladies many many years ago in North America, and Russians in Kuala Lumpur. Cannot help you with FKK, Frankfurt.
