You should pay $10 more & try the Deluxe rooms ... being generally more spacious, they are the ones that have the street-facing windows - you can literally do doggie on the parapet totally undetected while seeing people walk by along Middle Road.
As for the courtyard rooms, they're not available for transit ... day rate was just above $100+ when they first opened, but not too sure now - nothing fancy but you can tan naked, fuck outdoors, fuck under the stars or fuck under the rain ... totally in your own unintruded space.

In comparison, I rather use H81 Tristar nowadays ... not just becoz of the newer facilities & ample parking space, they have 2 designer rooms that really would convince any girl that it is no budget hotel you brought her. These cost $50 for the first 2 hours though.
The other thing I like is the swimming pool ... taking a room there for the nite, it offers an opportunity to do frolicking & bonking in the pool without any disturbances. The other such alternative was Gallery Hotel where the rates can be rather exorbitant.

Re: budget hotels

Str8 Err .. just curious cos never try the short term package. Do they list - '2hr -$30' openly at the check-in or you have to ask for it ar?

Be steady Bro Str8, go 2 e counter n say transit 2hrs pay $30 dollars ($20 for room n $10 deposit) remember 2 take yr $10 deposit back when u check out. H81 has a life time member for $10 n e benefits r u dun hv 2 put deposit n can get e deluxe rooms (supposedly better but i realised only wif a extra small sofa..but hey me GF loves e sofa so wat e heck )

Tks 4 e suggestions Bro KingEros..would check it out e next time I'm at Bugis 81..tt would spice things up..tink my GF would b quite excited 2 b 'exposed' 2 b fucked by her man at e same time!

Cheers

Re: budget hotels

Since this thread is somehow revived, can I request some updated confirmation of the following:

1) Northern-most budget hotel ... remains H81 & Fragrance in Kovan?

2) Western-most budget hotel ... remains the "nameless" hotel along Ng Peck Tee Lane (round the corner from Fong Seng & Cheese Prata)? Next most will hafta be Fragrance inside Morse Rd (foot of Mt Faber)?

BTW, Cameroon Hotel opposite ITE East in Simei ... cannot make it lah, $26 for transit but everything inside all so old (dun think there is even a bed that doesn't creak).

1) yes i think so

2) thats Santa Grand but don't forget Pasir Panjang Inn at 404 Pasir Panjang Rd. someone was saying Santa Grand do not offer transit now?

lastly, for the east area Cameroon Hotel is the only choice and yes its old... the nearest alternative is Hotel 81 Changi near Kembangan mrt

Wondering if I shld book a budget hotel over at Bugis or book a chalet at DTE instead...

Any suggestion?

Re: budget hotels

Yup, just call up santa grand, no more transit. Sianzz... But at least still got Pasir Panjang Inn but the inn only offer transit before 7pm or so and $40 for 2hr. The good thing was that it got big rooms and underground carpark. Bro, let us keep this thread update. Really itching to go budget hotel but bo lover liao.

Anyone know of this hotel at the foot of Mt Faber when going back to pasir panjang road? Saw the place was building up for like a hotel or something. Just look thru some threads, some say its New Fragrance Hotel along pasir Panjang road. is it?
