Bro lost99, Ratchada actually nothing much to do for tourist besides the Soapies and partying. Ratchada is considered a nightlife area of BKK, lots of pubs and clubs and other naugthy stuff. But if you looking for somethig different can go the train night market at ratchada ( behind esplanard shopping mall ) Thurs-Sun. Or walk along the huai khwang market see girl. If you want can go Ladprao and check out this place called Chaika, just beside Big C ladprao. Is exactly the same as Siam Tiu in SG but only no models or working girls, usually people go with friends to enjoy themselves. Or you can also take a taxi go to Talad Liab Duan ( open everyday ) but go weekend better. Do note that talad liab duan is quite far from ratchada. Hope you enjoy your BKK trip.

Thanks for your advice! But, I'm not advertising Catherine! My 2 favorite soapys were Nataree and Catherine. Since Nataree has been closed permanently, just want to assist forum members where to go for one of the best soapy services in Bangkok! If you want to visit La Deference, located next to Catherine, ask for Khun Toom, he'll assist all the forum members! ( also, Catherine's girls have regular health checkup, I was there when doctor was in service)

yup I fully agree. I am not a tourist though. I work in Bangkok and ride my own motorbike. I have full health/life insurance as well as full insurance for my bike. If anything happen, I dont need to pay a cent.

That's an excellent idea, you're well protected! This is what my high ranking traffic police officer told me, "in case of an automobile or motosai acident involving a foreigner, if both parties have insurance then the claim adjuster will determined whose fault it is but if other party doesn't have insurance then t foreigner must pay for everything!"

Not entirely true...... you dun have to pay only if your insurance acknowledges and accepts the claims. But if you were drunk or were high on drugs when the accident occurred..... they will repudiate liability and you still have to pay.

My company employs tons of locals to be "drivers" although many of them just sit around the transport office without actually going out. Their duty is to show up and own up at any accident scene involving any of our company vehicles or senior management staff.
