Schedule for the rest of the week was as such. Reporting into office in morning, tally up the tagging completed the day before and preparing for what needs to be done for the day. I'd spent most day at the site and heading back to the office when it's about time to knock off. I'll see Denise only in the morning and at the end of the day. Very little chance of the same encounter that we had.
As with most young execs and undergrads like me. Friday nights were party nights. Contrary to what you might be thinking, Denise was not the party sort. She is sort of a health freak who hardly drinks or smokes. I think the most unhealthy in-take that she had in a while was my cum. Too high in protein. Me ? With the spare cash, I'd be clubbing every week. Was meeting gf and a bunch of clubbing kakis. Couldn't remember where we went. Probably Fire, Chinoserie or Ridley's. When it was about 10ish got a page. "351430" I'm like, what the F Next came a unfamiliar phone number. The party was just getting started but initial mysterious number got the better of me and I decided to find a pay phone to make the call. Me : Who paged ? Denise : It's me, Denise. You're outside ? Me : Yes, clubbing with some friends. Was the earlier number 351430 from you as well. Denise : Yup, that was to let you know it's me. Me : Huh ? Your IC number ? Hahhhahhhaahha !!! Denise : Thought you're smarter than that, look at it upside down. Me : Ok... Denise : That's the closest that I could get the numbers to resemble my name. Me : OooHhh...that's right, pretty cute and convenient. Denise : Hey, I've got some questions on the consolidated completion spreadsheet that you have done. Me : Don't tell me that you are still in the office ? Denise : Not everyone gets to enjoy their Friday Ok ? Me : Ok, what's the question ? We ran through some of the numbers and equipment codes but it was really difficult as I can't remember what all the numbers are and what some of the codes meant. Me : Hey...this is not working. We could be talking all night and be getting no where. Denise : Sorry, I've got a Monday morning management presentation that I'm preparing with your datas. Denise was sounding very stressed and depressed. Me : I'll call you back later. Don't go home yet.

While walking back, I flipped over my mind what I need to do. Found my group of friends and took my gf one side.
Me : Hey, just spoke to my lady boss and she needs some helped with the work I've done. Gf : Huh ? At this hour ? Me : She's got some big presentation on Monday and stucked with some of the stuff I've prepared for her. Gf : Aiyah, you just a temp why care so much ? Me : Not that, she told me that she'll put this as OT on my timesheet and clocked it up a few additional hours. So, maybe we could go Bali just before school starts afterall. We've always talk about visiting Bali. My gf was relatively well to do so it's actually me having to cough up the cash to cover the travel expenses. Funny thing is, my family is better off than my gf's but my parent has this concept that I should earn my keeps so that I can understand the value of money. I had to take up a study loan to cover my uni fees. My dad would only put his name in as the guarantor but not a single cent. Gf : I dunno... Me : You stay and once I'm done, I'll come back here to meet you again. We're with some of my buddies and her gfs so I know that she will be fine on her own. Gf : How long you going to take ? Me : I'm not sure but this is my boss office number. Call me if you need me. Showing her the number on the pager. Gf : Ok... We went back to the club and broke the news to our friends. I was like a wet blanket and friends were like teasing me for being a spoil sports. Although I know my gf hated the fact that I gotta go, she defended me and asked the friends to quit being assholes. This reaffirmed my conviction of my relationship with her. I called Denise on the pay phone again Me : Hey, gimme about half an hour to 45mins. I'll come back to the office. Denise : You don't need to do that. Me : Don't take this as a favor, I want it as OT on my timesheet and you might consider clocking in a few additional hours. Denise : HaaHahahAhaaaa...that sounds like a blackmail !!! Me : Hey !!! That's the only way that I can convince my gf to let me leave. Denise : AaaWwwwWw....I thought you are doing this because it's me. Denise in a flirty manner : OK lah, you win. I'll do everything you asked. Me : See you in a bit.

Took a cab down and the moment I saw the security guard when I got out of the can, I knew immediately that I'll be in for some trouble. My temp company pass was at home, it was already approaching midnight, I looked a little too young to be one of the office staff, I'm smelling of alcohol, I'm dressed for a party and I'm wearing my ear stud.
True enough, I got stopped and refused entry. I gave Denise's number to him and was left waiting at one side while he made the call. He came back and with a fierce glare told me to wait. I don't blame him, he is doing his job and I've just given him a scare for what supposedly should have been a peaceful Fri night. Denise came down to the security guard post fetch me up and I had to surrender my IC and booked in. She was still in her office attire but there's an obvious disarray and the day has taken it's toll on her. Once we are in the office building, Denise pulled me to a corner. Denise : Security camera. While I was looking at where all the cameras were. Denise hugged me and planted a kiss on my cheek. Denise : Thanks for making the trip back. Me trying to look not too please : And you owe me for the cab fare for getting back here. Once we got to the office, I noticed how different it looks. It was totally deserted and quiet without the buzz of the economic soldiers during the day. Most areas are dark except the area where Denise's workstation was. I remarked : The atmosphere is different. Denise tensing up : Huh ? Why ?Don't tell me that you are feeling something spooky... Me : No, just quiet plus there's no air-con. Denise slapping me on my arms : Idiot !!! Don't scare me like that, I've still gotta work late here. Me : Hahhahaa...I didn't know that you are a scaredy cat Denise flirting again : Yah, so what if I'm a pussy ? You got a problem with that ? Me : OooHhh....I've never had a problem with pussies, yours especially. Denise : Can smell the alcohol on you and it's obviously making you bolder. Where were you ? Me : Was out clubbing. Denise : I've guess as much given the attire and the ear stud. I've been fooled by the you in the day. Me : You mean you were fooled when I had my finger buried deep inside you ? Denise : No, it's for coming back and for making me laugh. I've be so stressed out all night. Me : Think we better get started, I'm still hoping to go back and finish my party.

Denise ran through the questions she had with the data that I had submitted to her and the various areas she had trouble reconciling. I took down the notes and said that I'll verify that. I asked Denise what kinda presentation she intended to show and she explained to me what she was looking at delivering from the scope of work that I had done.
Me : How much of your presentation have you completed minus the portion relating to my area ? Denise : Hhhmmmm...about 80% Me : We'll work concurrently. I work on getting the portion in my area all sorted out for you and you finish up on the remaining 20%. Denise : OK Just when I stood up to go, Denise's phone rang. She stared at it in surprise. Me : I gave your office number to my gf. Denise picked it up and true enough, it was my gf. She passed the hand set to me. Gf : How's it going. Me : I think I've got a rough idea where the problem is and just about to get started. Gf : OK, page me when you are done in case we head off somewhere for supper. Me : OK After hanging up. Denise : Gf checking up on you !!! Me smiled : I'm safe as long as I am with the SPG here. Denise : HahHahHhah...you are a real monster !!! Me : Hey, stop calling my monster. He could hear and instead on working on your presentation, I'd be working on you. Denise flirting again : Work before play, we can play later. I went back to my workstation and worked on suspected to be the problem. True enough, it was the Query and the filtering. It was a 5mins fix and I got the corrected consolidated summary. Me shouting over to Denise : You done with the presentation ? Denise hollered back : Nope, a couple of more slides. Well since I got the extra time, I started fiddling around with the data to come up with some correlation charts. Attached the finished work and emailed it to Denise.
