Chapter 48 – “Let it be…..”

It was a Saturday morning and I was walking the usual route on the way to the hawker’s centre when I noticed someone squatting on the pavement. It was a woman as her bra was clearly visible against the back of her teeshirt.
As I approached, she looked up and was somewhat startled to see me. “Sarah!” I greeted her. “Apa khabar? Kenapa? Ada hal?” I asked if she had any problems. She was squatting on the walkway fiddling with the wheel of her shopping cart which had apparently loosened and come off. “Oh Sir! Selamat pagi!” she replied with a smile. Just then, as I was standing over her, I managed to get a brief view down the gap of her teeshirt. She was wearing a skin coloured bra but I was too far to get a clearer peek. “The wheel has come off and I can’t fix it back…..” she told me in Bahasa.

“Come, let me take a look,” I said as I squatted beside her and took the wheel from her. The joint had broken off and there was no way to repair it then. “See, it’s broken already” I told her, pointing at the broken joint. “Cannot fix here. Ask mum to buy a new one…..” I said. She nodded and I’m not sure if she understood what I said.

“I help you carry to the market. After you buy finish, I send you home ok?” I suggested to her, using my hands to illustrate the point. “Come. You follow me to my car” I said as I imitated the action of a steering wheel. Forever with that cute sheepish smile, she carried the cart and walked behind me. “No, no. Walk with me, sama sama…..” I told her, signalling her to come walk beside me, “Jangan jalan di blakang…..” That, she understood.

I drove her to the market and accompanied her as she did her marketing. Not talking much, I just observed her as she went round buying veggies, fish, chicken – all the stuff that she had memorised. She seems a pleasant, hardworking and humble young lady. It’s that slight dimple and demure sheepish smile that’s bound to attract the attention of lechers and wolves…..

“Sir mau beli makan?” she asked me as she finished her marketing. “Sarah uda makan?” I asked back. Shaking her head, she replied “Belum. Nanti balik ke rumah, Sarah minum Milo dan makan roti”. I felt a tinge of sympathy for her and suggested that we have a quick breakfast before I sent her back. Sensing that she was afraid of being questioned for taking too long, I quickly told her not to worry and that I’d inform the sisters’ that she was with me as her shopping cart was broken. She then agreed and that was the first time I had breakfast with her.

I found out that she was from a village in Java and that she came over to work as a maid so as to support her family and siblings who were still studying. Still single, she reluctantly revealed that she has a boyfriend waiting for her back home and that they planned to get married once she ends her contract here. “Hmm….” an evil sounding voice then echoed in my mind and I quickly managed to shut it out before it could conjure any images or thoughts that would bound to wake my bro…..

I also found out that she was going to have her once-a-month off day tomorrow. “So where do you go when you’re off?” I casually asked. “Usually City Plaza. I go there to meet my friends and buy my things…..” she said. That damned evil one just won’t give up. Filling my mind with vivid images of Sarah prancing naked, cupping her breasts and spreading her pussy was beginning to give me an erection. “Er, so tomorrow you meeting anybody?” I asked. “Ya! I’ll be meeting my friend and we’re going shopping…..” she replied, sounding and looking excited at the prospect of having a day off. “Oh ok. Maybe next month, when you off, we can go out?” I took the risk by suggesting that. She looked at me, not saying anything but with that dimple and sheepish smile on her face. “Come, let’s go before mum think you kena kidnap…..” I said as I got up and helped her carry the cart. I also managed to get her mobile no. on the short drive back. “Don’t tell mum that you know my number ok?” she pleaded. “Ok. Don’t worry…..” I said as I helped carry the cart for her to the lift lobby.

Just in case, I messaged Alice after Sarah got into the lift, to let her know the reason Sarah was late as I didn’t want her to get a scolding, lest it would dampen any opportunities that I might have later. Alice replied soon after, thanking me and saying that it’s ok.

Unable to resist the temptation, I messaged Sarah later that afternoon, asking if she’d eaten. She didn’t reply till more than an hour later, asking who I was. I texted back saying that it was me and she asked what I wanted, adding that it was inconvenient for her to reply that quickly. Picking up courage, I asked if we could go out tomorrow, on the pretext that I haven’t been to City Plaza for a long time already. She didn’t reply and I left it at that. “Patience my man. Patience…..” the evil one advised, blowing smoke circles from the cigar he was smoking, in his toothless mouth.

It was about 10.00 that night when the message tone of my mobile sounded. I was about to go to bed and was pleasantly surprised when I recognised the number. Sarah replied. “You want to go to City Plaza tomorrow?” she asked. “Ya. If you don’t mind. I haven’t been there in a long time so I thought if I could go with you and take a walk” I replied. The reply was almost immediate this time. “But I’m meeting my friend. You want to join us?” “Who’s that?” my wife suddenly asked, perhaps noticing the smirk and slight excitement showing on my face as I eagerly typed the replies. “Huh? Oh, Wong lah…..” I gave the excuse, being careful to delete each received and sent message immediately. “He’s asking me to join him tomorrow. Overseas guest on one night stopover” I said. She grunted and went back to watching her program on cable, obviously not believing a single word I said. “Got thing to talk must sms one meh? Cannot call one ah? What’s so secretive?” she mumbled.

“You going to be with your friend the whole day?” I texted Sarah. “Eya. Until time to go home,” she replied. Sigh, should I join her and her friend? I’d prefer for us to be alone, so that I can build on the relationship and who knows, I may even get to home base on the first outing…..

“Ok, tell you what. I’ll call you tomorrow if I’m going to City Plaza ok? You carry on with your friend first. If I’m going later, I will call you,” I texted her, unsure of wanting to meet Sarah together with her friend. “Ok. Good night!” she texted back with a smiley face.

Lying in bed later, I was mulling over the idea. If Sarah’s with her friend, then chances of getting to home base will definitely be slim, unless by some miracle, her friend agrees to a threesome. “Ya! Wishful thinking!” I chided myself silently. But then again, just spending some time with her, to get to know her better wouldn’t seem a bad idea too. At least she may think that I do not have any ulterior motives. “Just go with your instincts. Follow the flow and let it be…..” was the advice I heard before falling asleep…..
