Are razias common before Puasa? I was under the impression that razia will be on during Ramadan and (the last razia was) during Isra & Mikraj usually by the self appointed guardians of morality (ORMAS).

But the latest word is these Organisasi Massa ("ORMAS") are not allowed to conduct razias anymore.

I'm heading down there.... any inside information I need to know first?

Yep think u have to be very careful when u book Fl from the discotheque but anywhere anyplace even in Sgp just gotta be careful and take care of your belongings.
Was in Batam from 8-10 Aug after 2 yrs last visit stayed in Hotel 89 decent hotel with nice clean room abt 275k or $42 for standard or 315K or $48 for superior only diff is the bath tub.Was surprised that Planet not as happening as before compared to Pacific now plenty of young ceweks but asking price higher now like 400K to 600k. Food wise still ask driver to send me and frds to usual joint at Batu Besar Rezeki though its abt more than half and hr journey from Nagoya its worth the trip.Total exp for the dinner abt $85 for 5 pax including driver crabs.prawns.fish.veg and beer.Driver was recommended by a frd anywhere he is very punctual to fetch us when given the time thats what I like.U can contact him at 08127778104 Samsul if u need his services.
It was an enjoyable trip except that we were lucky to get the last ferry at 9.10pm even though we were there at abt 1.45pm to bk the 3pm ferry luckily if not we can only come bk tmr. This has nvr happen before normally able to bk ferry 1hr before depature maybe because of the holidays.Anyway to be safe next time book in advance return trip.But it was ok the spare time was spent at Mega Mall and lastly a massage before we head to the ferry terminal.

As u know next mth is a Holy mth to the Muslim tere. Even some of the cewek tere do fast. So wat kind of services u expect fm them? Like bro Alphaw said....like bonking a dead fish. So u go figure out is it worth cheonging tis holy mth?

The authorities may not conduct raid. But u must also be wary of the people (local) around u too. Just a tip off fm them to the authorities and u will be in trouble. But if u really insist in going, stay in a well established hotel...Maxi is one.
