thailand political party made deal with Everton.....news report below

BANGKOK, Nov 20 (Reuters) - Soccer seeped deeper into the veins of Thai politics on Tuesday as the Democrat Party, rival of Manchester City owner Thaksin Shinawatra, announced a deal with English Premier League club Everton to coach young players.

The move by the City of Bangkok, run by Thailand's oldest political party, came days after Manchester City's signing of three Thai players in the capital, dominated by a video address from Thaksin, the former prime minister ousted in a coup last year.

Staff from Everton, one of two Premiership clubs in the English city of Liverpool, are due in Bangkok next month to start designing a series of soccer clinics to be held by April.

"This isn't about a counter attack. Our bid to build ties with the City of Liverpool coincided with the Man City deal," Deputy Bangkok Governor Buddhipong Punnakanta told Reuters.

The Everton-sponsored soccer schools should be up and running before those promised by Manchester City, which has also pledged to invest time and resources in Thai soccer.

Moyes vows to take time on appointment

Moyes will be in the dug-out without Irvine for the first in over five years on Saturday for the home league game with Sunderland.

Irvine left the club this week to take over at Preston, Moyes' former club, and the Toffees boss admitted he gave the Deepdale club a glowing reference for his right-hand man.

Moyes will have the help of coaches Jimmy Lumsden and Andy Holden against Sunderland, and that could be the case until the new year.

"The process will not be as quick as everyone seems to think, I will have a good look around and take my time.

"I do have people here who can cope, but I will bring people in, maybe two.

"Some times you do need changes to freshen things up a little, and that is what I will do."

i jus could not believe wat i saw on today Newpaper.
n mangae to watch the telecat today at 1pm.
my fav goal is Osman wan....

hope they can continue these kind of play n standard.
