Hmm...can they get along not a concern lah, at least to me.... more importantly we here got more choice mah. Anyway, why think so far, maybe there will be delicated hse for mainland chinese just like they dont mix thai and malaysia together. IMHO, not an issue at all......dont think AV will even bother to consider such issues.....for the benefit of all of us AV should work fast fast, mai tu liao.....

When the IRs are built, we will get all types of 'imports' from all over the world. Gambling and prostitution go hand in hand. It is better to legalise and control it rather than having the triads from neighbouring countires coming in and control the supply of 'illegal imports working on holiday visas.

Collateral damage like STDs or even AIDS could be high so it is better to anticipate and counter the problem before it snowballed into a huge problem for a small country like Sinapore. If you been to Macau you will know what I mean, streetwalkers hanging around the casino , not a good sign and discourage family type tourists to Macau.

Look forward to seeing some progress made in this area as for many years we do not have a thriving night life other than Geylang and the over priced KTVs..

when IR is in operation come 2009, I think the prices of FL will shoot up like rockets!

It is back to supply and demand issue, the supply of FL might be controlled at immigration level, but the visitors to IR as the demand could be overwhelming!

If im not wrong, the new laws allows PRCs to work in Singapore in service industries. Service is pretty wide, perhaps soon you can see them working in legalised 'spas' and many such 'spas' will spring up instead of the shady TNs nowadays
