Cheapest internet is those inside the ratchada SOI 3 and Huay Kwang.

their setup is rather new and cost THB 10 per 30 mins-- is that cheap enough??

I heard that if u still near the top floor in watana mansion, u can get free access cos the top floor are occupied by those long term tenant with wireless broadband.

about the same as those in katong area. $1 an hour...

You wan cheap, go further out from the central lor, like those internet shops in Suk101/1 are like 15thb/hr

I tried already; no luck, mostly are encrypted. I can even received the signals from Muang Thai building across the main road. Funny thing is I always get this "Public-Wifi" or something .. but just didn't work ..

My recent trip I was surfing in Pracharaj bumphen Huaykwang near Ratchada City Hotel.

They've got several internet cafes.

I went to the one nearest to my gf's house at soi 8.

Internet is only 15 baht per hour. There was once I was in a hurry and I surfed for 15 mins and they said no need $$...

This place is just less than 10 mins walk from the MRT...

Public-wifi name is a default name (SSID) of a particular type of wireless router, It always does not and can not connect up online.
