PAID UP FULLY....
was at............chinatown..JIN SHA... $540k in 1 nite...
and with my OWN EYES i see hang and paid up...was at DC...$320k!
but both times..... the hangers are all quite well known in the HFJ scene!..
Wow, another super experienced hand at HFJs! Thanks for the pointers in these posts. Were you out of action (as your byline seems to suggest) for a long time? Didn't Jin Sha closed down recently. Went there once, thought not so nice, had no idea used to be a very big place.
The better joints are Lido, Las Vegas, DC and Club Jade IMHO. Club Macau not too bad too.
Interesting you don't rate Xianzi and Huangchao up there, can you tell us why? I'm not a frequent enough customer to know much about any of them, but I admit I used to go to both Xianzi and HC alot. That said, I do agree with all the ones you listed, except I don't like Macau due to their stage and small sitting area, as well as their rule that unless you buy bottle, can't sit on sofa

The ambiance of a KTV wif stage and a pure HFJ will never be the same.
Personally, i prefer those KTV wif stage whereas i know bros who prefer outright HFJ settings

You guys really adventurous....check out lorong 13...they got pretty singers there...i got to know a few of them at the black joint above...
Is the HFJ in lor 13 beside Her Majesty pub? If yes, i have been there before quite sometime ago. HH for beer is cheap at $15 - 18 per jug before 8:30pm or 9pm if not wrong. Very few customers on that day i went but the singers are not bad at least to me.

not sure....it's near the main road side leading to sims ave if I am not wrong...I have not been there...just sat with a few singers from there during hh

MV used to be only a pub in KS street... before the lady boss, rent it out as a pub and took over another location at Rivervalley hotel....

i think that time, it was very popular...
then after that.....move to balmoral plaza....... then they open another neighbourhood joint in upper thomson..
so now... mv in Ks is a PUB
MV in balmoral Plaza is a DUCK joint...
MV in upper thomson is a........ neighbourhood joint...
think came out in the papers a few mths back!! big story about males singers hamtam customers!.
yup is this MV in balmoral..
then...this MV in thomson....is 1 of the most demoralize joints in singapore...

the singers....from day 1.... are totally...ridiculous... 8 out of 10 can't sing...
they had to turn their head to look at the MTV to sing..
so i am not sure i am going into a KARAOKE or HFJ...
and after if they got 1 flower...or after the waitress pester u to hang...
they stop!!
so 1 song...1 flower...30secs.... thats it!
and the most sad thing is..
THEY ONLY KNOW HOW TO SING SAD N SLOW SONGS!!!..

yesterday i also went to TIAN CHI at bukit pasoh... used to be a pub.. then convert..
i see a few not bad ones..... and not many big fishes around...
so if some of u, deem yourself as a small fishes....

O.O i oni noe 1 guy who went there everyday to sing..wonder izit him who turn off the customer..sing sibei lagi like opera... :S sadly the gals so free sit dwn play cards... nearly everyday the gals more dan customers..
