Carra with broken rib & pneumothorax (collapsed lung), so will be out of Tue's game against Toulouse ... dunno when he'll be fit again actually.
Hyypia with broken nose, but trained today ... so should be partnering Agger until Carra is fully fit again.

Hi read in one of the article that though no further treatment for the broken rib, but the second condition pneumothorax (collapsed lung) might take up to 6 weeks to recover

How to sustain BPL challenge without our most consistent CB. Really hope Rafa got the emergency fund for a CB cover, Hamburg's player Kompany maybe??

LIVERPOOL will be without Jamie Carragher for at least their next two games as the defender recovers from a broken rib and breathing difficulties.

But the centre-half is determined to recover in time to face Portsmouth on September 15, despite spending last night recovering in Fazakerley Hospital.

Scans revealed Carragher did crack a rib during an accidental collision with Pepe Reina at the Stadium of Light, and the 29-year-old was checked in for treatment on Merseyside yesterday after suffering breathing problems.

Further tests revealed a partial pneumothorax. Although that’s often referred to as a collapsed lung, Carragher’s condition isn’t as bad as that sounds.
He’s hoping to be released today after undergoing further tests, but was in positive mood as he spoke about his ordeal.

“Because of the international break, I’m hoping to only miss the next two matches,” said the vice-captain.

Totally agree with you bro. This had been quite evident during our game against Chelsea. Shawn Wright Phillips was like tormenting Arbeloa with his speed. We need somebody powerful and fast to cover the left back. As for the left flank, Babel was pretty quiet at first but eventually came to life. Maybe just need to get used to the new position. If he keeps it up, would be a tough competition for Riise. I think very soon, Babel is going to score. He missed like inches in two games liao.

I hope this won't happen. I just cant imagine having Sisoko in front of the goalie. I think we all will have heart attack. It is early days yet, but the strike force has certainly proven itself. Although we are still finding it difficult to score early and score a lot, at least, we are moving forward more menancingly now. I especially like it when Torres face up to JT. So far we have seen various strike force combinations. Which ones you bros like most or felt most potent? Personally, I like Torres-Voronin. Vorinin is much like Kuyt but more dangerous and runs into space better. He could have scored another one that night if he had been more selfish instead of passing to Torres.
