Re: Angeles City (Balibago) Tips
From Makati ..
============================================ Police raid KTV club in Makati City, ‘college girls’ in sex trade rescued INQUIRER.net 10:51 pm | Wednesday, September 21st, 2011 MANILA, Philippines—Around 50 alleged sex traders including female college students were rescued by police while nine suspects were arrested in a raid in Makati Tuesday midnight, police said Wednesday. The Criminal Investigation and Detection Group’s (CIDG) Women and Children Protection Division (WCPD), the Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking (IACAT) and Makati City officials joined forces in raiding Club Pharaoh KTV at Creekside building, Amorsolo corner Javier Streets, Legaspi Village, Makati City around midnight Tuesday, said CIDG chief Police Director Samuel D. Pagdilao Jr. The suspects were floor managers of Club Pharaoh KTV identified only through their aliases; Sheldon, Junnelyn, Nati, Ma. Reyna, Maila, Ma. Victoria, Elena, Mary Angelyn and Noemi. CIDG-WCPD chief Police Superintendent Emma Libunao said there were complaints stating the establishment was engaging in sex trade and some of its workers are students. The presence of an “aquarium,” in which customers can view and choose a female worker was already an evidence of exploitation of women and constitutes a violation of the anti-human trafficking law, Libunao said. “The aquarium can be likened to a glass container where the women are being sold as commodity for sexual services to customers.” Investigation showed that while customers have to pay P5,000 for the services of an “entertainer” inside the VIP room, the woman was being paid around P400 per hour by the management of Club Pharaoh KTV. If the customer chooses to avail of sexual services from the female worker of their choice, there are private rooms where they can pay P10,000 for the said service, Libunao said. He added the CIDG-WCPD and the IACAT have evidence that can prove that female workers of the said establishment perform sexual acts with customers inside the VIP and the other private rooms. Violations of the Anti-Human Trafficking in Persons Act will be filed against the suspects, Libunao said.

Some info are far off the actual specs. I strongly advice u not to buy if u dunno the Android OS Version. Cuz some of the cheapo tablets comes with 1.5 or 1.6 Pretty useless with some of the newer softwares. Some of these tablets also dun have software support for future Rom updates. For this price, u usually get a overclocked CPU(already slow enough) and resistive screen. U dun get multi touch like iPad. No pinch to zoom. There is a very good reason why it is sold for so cheap. If u just want a use and throw toy....go ahead. Dun expect to be doing much on it anyway. |

For the price and what i have been experiencing with it, i am happy to take it as a cheap entry level gadget. I remember buying an N95 when it was first launched and being blur and not knowing how to use its full power, i left it in my drawer and put my sim card in my basic cel. Cos all i did was call and sms. Felt stupid. Btw, my toy runs on version 2.2. Seen some adverts on tablets and i see ver 3.xx. Skype on this unit is buggy.

Re: Angeles City (Balibago) Tips
REWARD FOR INFO LEADING TO CAPTURE
The murderers of David Balmer and his girlfriend Elma Deguia are still at large. They have been positively identified by the PNP as Jesus "John" Santos a Filipino and Mr. Timothy "Tim" Kaufman age 33 an American from Knoxville, Tennessee. Myself and Jimmy Dale aka Harry the Horse along with other community expats will be offering a sizeable reward for the capture of these two hired killers. The exact details of the reward offer are still being worked out but we expect an announcement within the next week. The PNP from Station 4 did an outstanding job identifying the two murder suspects and in notifying the PNP throughout the country to be on the lookout for these two hit men. Of particular interest now is to determine who exactly hired these two killers and to bring that individual to justice. It is suspected that a rival businessman hired these two suspects to kill Richard Agnew but instead killed David and his girlfriend by mistake. The reward will be directed at capturing the two killers and also for information that identifies their employer. The murder of David Balmer and Elma Deguia can not be forgotten. They were two innocent people that never hurt anyone. They did not deserve to die in a hail of bullets while the slept together quietly in their bed. How cowardly and cold blooded can two killers be to slip into someone's bedroom in the middle of the night and empty 14 bullets into two innocent sleeping people. How can we as a community allow cold blooded killers like these two men to walk among us. We must bring them to justice no matter what the cost. Re: Angeles City (Balibago) Tips
There is more to this, than a shoot gone wrong ..
and RA was apparently sent a 'warning' .. as some mafia wants to muscle in and more blood is supposedly going to be shed .. My 2 cents, DONT EVEN DISCUSS POLITICS WITH THE CRAZIES IN PHILIPPINES, a wrongly overheard comment can earn you a 9 mil coming off a smooth bore ... and if somebody want to discuss the AC politics, when you are there .. walk away .. and LIVE .. for the love of GOD - be alive.. And .. the better news http://www.sunstar.com.ph/breaking-n...x-envoy-180829

Re: Angeles City (Balibago) Tips
]From Harry the Horse
I have been receiving Emails from readers of my column wondering if they should go elsewhere for their visits, by-pass Angeles City for Bangkok, or other locations. They are worried about being harassed. My sources in AC tell me that the emphasis is on bar owners now, not customers. I have been told that this latest series of raids uncovered 28 underage ladies. I read about this as well but usually, after the verification process, this number is greatly reduced. I do not know if this is what happened or not. All I can say is that any owner caught with an actual, truly, underage girl employed in his or her club deserves whatever comes down from the authorities. I agree that if they have the right city clearances then the city officials should be held accountable. But that excuse is getting old, very old. Why trust the folks at Hygiene? How many times have club owners been fucked because of phony paperwork? I will tell you who gets them in trouble, it is the Mamasans, the first line of defense. The reason Ray Kelly is still in jail is because his Mamasan messed up. Owners have to take more personal responsibility of what is going on in their clubs. It is a damn shame these raids are taking place but folks, the heat IS ON! It is not just for extortion purposes but also political. If tourists want girls under 18 years to play with, go to Thailand, Cambodia, Malayasia, please stay away from Angeles City. |

Re: Angeles City (Balibago) Tips
from harry the horse
I have been informed that the Police recently rounded up a whole bunch of street girls in their efforts to clean up the streets and make things safer for tourists. Their efforts must be applauded but somehow I think they had a reason for such motivation. The word is that each one paid P3,000 to be released. There seems to be a certain Police officer they absolutely loathe. Gosh, I can’t imagine who that might be. If I get back, if any free lancers are still around I will have to do more specific research to ferret out a name. (i wish they got rid of the touts n other trouble makers on the streets instead) |
