Just continue to protect the true identity of the people that you are writing about, and keep the 10% fantasy. I guess the rest of the readers can do with just 90% reality.

bro, i guess the choice is very much up to you. as long as you feel comfortable with what you are doing, you don't really bother about others n their comments.

just do what pleases you and that's the important thing. that's my personal thoughts, for you to ponder over..
