Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Don't think Fab is ready for the Atletico game might not even make the bench for the West Ham match? Thiago might make the bench for the Atletico game so hopefully he shall have a chance to start the West Ham match?
Dire times for us in MF at the moment and going by this morning's results for both Atletico and West Ham we might be in for a torrid week if we start with Hendo, Ox and Jones in MF This idea with Trent in MF and Gomez at RB might possibly be the best in the current crisis, for both upcoming games. Alternative could be Firmino in midfield? Another option is to go with 3 CBs with a 352 but think Klopp had said before that he does not like that formation. 4231 could be yet another option? Whatever it is, playing with Ox limits our chances. Also Robbo looks jaded so would give Kostas a shot once again at LB. Klopp won't do it but I'd be inclined to sit a bit deeper and hit Atletico on the counter attack. If we are fielding a midfield that is weaker out of possession then make it hard for Atletico to play through you. Like I said in my earlier post above, lots for Klopp to think about over this week! Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Just saw latest training photos from Kirkby.
Actually sighted both Fab & Thiago with smiles Won't risk them for full game against Atletico though as weekend match at West Ham is more important. Probably have to endure grinding out 60 mins with Jones and Ox then put Fab and Thiago on in the final quarter to get their rythm going for the West Ham game. Unless Klopp prepared to change formation while keeping Fab and Thiago safe for the West Ham game. |

Robust first half.
I would now sub Mane, Mo and Fab. Game won, see it out. Kostas been great, so too Trent. Ox, release him from defensive duties and he shines. As for Atletico, same dirty shit team with a scum bag manager who can now run back to Spain. |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Job done. 12 from 12. Made a potentially tricky group look easy.
Now we get to rest players in the last two matches, perhaps even play our Carabao Cup team. Have it Simeone you ******. Same goes for all those ex reds so called pundits starting with Steve McManaman, could have mistaken him for Sky's Martin Tyler Can't ask for any more than that. The game reinforced how important Fabinho is to this team. If he had played against Brighton we would have won easily. Hope Bobby is okay. Also hope Mo is saving his goals for West Ham. Finally, Ajax looks like the surprise package. Ten Hag really one to watch |

Yes clinical and comfortable win after sending off Felipe due to stupidity or ignoring the ref. Supposed to be only yellow for fouling Mane but straight red for ignoring ref when called. Now can let second team have a go at the remaining two matches. Even lose still top of group. Who said is Group of Death?

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Inside Anfield Atletico clip.
Especially look at the last minute or so, heartwarming stuff where ex Reds Jose Enrique, Fernando Torres and Luis Suarez smiling, greeting and hugging King Kenny. Looks like young Harvey Elliott is a fan of El Nino because there is also a bit where Harvey is giving Torres a hug. Hopefully old legend passing on to a future legend. Btw Harvey's recovery looks to be heading in the right direction, fingers crossed he should be back training early next year. Joe Gomez also seen holding his young kid while greeting Enrique. Suarez seen holding a bag containing home and away Liverpool jerseys probably signed |
