The front line should shoulder the blame for failing to put the game away when it matters especially Mane and Jota when both were presented with the chances but without doubt the back four were terrible..

Only comfort is Chelski and Manure lost...

I couldn't understand what was in Klopp's mind? The substitution he made was bizzare! He took out Pool's best player n replaced him with Firmino, anyone watching the game would know that it was Pool's defence that needed reinforcement. Gomez or Konate would be the ideal replacement. I got this feeling Klopp is afraid of Mane. It was pretty obvious the player who should come off was Mane!

Congrats to Brentford, they played well and had a never give up attitude. I see the Bees definitely staying up. They are just a nightmare to play against.

Also an entertaining game for neutrals.

As for Liverpool, I blame our shambolic defensive performance on that ugly yellow Jersey.There can't be another explanation.

Seriously though, Klopp has to answer for this one(love the guy but I got to call it). Throughout the game, Trent was doubled-up on and bullied by Brentford but he did not make changes to address this.

After Curtis gave us the 3-2 lead with that beauty, instead of bringing on a defensive minded player (Konate/Milner) to protect the lead, he brought on Firmino. Going 4-2-4 while being a goal up was a bizarre choice

Big six pointer next weekend now as City must be over the Blue moon today.

But need to first concentrate on Porto next, midweek. For starters I would go for Tsimikas instead of Robertson and Takumi for Mane. Might even take the risk and rest both VVD & Matip with Konate & Gomez.

It was also pretty clear that Vvd is no longer the player he used to be after his recent injury ! The defense last night was in shambles n the 3 goals conceded were very soft goals. Taa was also a weak link, being a RB, he should concentrate more on his defending 1st before thinking about attack. Brentford easily exposed him last night n he was caught not marking his men so many x last night...

so many times they didn't attack the box, frustrating to watch them reach Brentford end before passing the ball out to midfield...simply slowing down the game and giving Brentford time to re-org their defense.

On a lighter note, I feel it's hilarious that Ole complained about Klopp being the reason United don't get penalties, to go and get one this Villa game and blow the penalty at the last second of the match.

I hope Klopp laughs at Ole in the next press conference

Thiago is in crutches now, means he's gonna be out @least 3-4 weeks.. Now with Thiago Keita n Elliot out, the midfield is quite challenging now. I don't see Hendo being able to play continuously the next 3-4 matches as he's quite injury prone also..It was a big mistake that they didn't buy someone to replace Gini. I would suggest moving Taa to midfield if Pool is short handed there.

Thiago on crutches might just be for support safety when he walks since it is a calf injury? So fingers crossed he might be back after the coming International break.

Just saw the youtube clip of our guys training today and seems like Naby is back. This was confirmed by Jurgen at today's CL press conference.

One interesting fact released at the above presser was Klopp saying that the Captain's armband has now increased to 6 from 3. First 3 being Henderson, Milner & Virgil. The next 3 were elected by the rest of the squad starting with Trent, Robertson & Alisson. Surprised Salah was not in the mix though.

Tough match tomorrow night. Any win will do and please no more injuries.
