How is the mosquito situation there? The dengue outbreak is terrible and there has been some deaths...... especially children.

Heard from my buddy's relative that the hospitals are turning away patients because the beds are all fully occupied.

Yes, I heard from news reports that Dengue is raging there. But no talk from the expat residents there about it. If you keep to the main roads and the entertainment areas, I guess you will be safer. I don really see any mosquitoes on my walk down Fields.

Saw a signboard with an offer of dengue vaccination on Mcarthur Highway towards Dau today.

Senior Superintendent Rodolfo Recomono, Angeles City police director, said Sharam Kelab, 33, an Arab national, and temporarily residing in Barangay Malabanias, Angeles City, failed to pay for the coffee and creamer at the cashier of Hypermarket grocery store.
