Re: Angeles City (Balibago) Tips
Hmm.. I have been on and off going to AC for the past five years. Matter of fact I was on the very first flight Tiger Airways made to Clark a few years ago haha. It was quite weird to be the first guy off the plane there and was garlanded on local tv. Anyways I wonder if any of you guys have managed to get to Angeles City proper instead of just Balibago. If you have a driving license, rent a bike from Fields Ave and go explore! Just a suggestions for those who is wondering what to do in the daytime or even better yet get a shuttle bus to Subic / Barrio Barretta for a swim in the beaches there in just 90 mins flat. And the barfine is lower there as well

Re: Angeles City (Balibago) Tips
Go up the Volcano! Mount Pinatubo has guided tour out of Fields and I assure you the view up there after the trek is great as the crater itself has turned into a beautiful lake. There are a few golf courses within Clark if you re into that game. As for other activities, it kinda depends on which time of the year you are there. Like right now, Holy week would let you see the freak show of people whipping the crap out of their backs and nailing themselves to the cross in the name of Christ... Another time of the year would have the Sisig festival in Angeles if you are roast pork lovers and the multitudes of festivals throughout the year.

I personally got trapped in a jam of more than 2.5hrs from Dau to Manila!!! The traffic condition in Manila really sucks!!! Worst than Bkk!!!
But coming back is smoothly

Just back from Angeles yesterday and business slower and girls as plentiful. I pity the bar owners who have to contend with empty bars. Will be back there again next Tuesday for another week of R&R. |

Re: Angeles City (Balibago) Tips
bro little gun thank you for your detailed frs.
i read them on the preceding pages and you have had a pretty good time. Bro Ah hia has been conferrred an honorary doctorate on Balibago Angeles City. So i like to hear from him from time to time. there was one instance where i asked him for more detailed frs. And he shouted at me saying.. this is all i am going to say. you ask for more. i wil stop contributing. or that was what he meant atleast. eversince i dun anyhow talk to bro ah hia. Bro ah hia this will be another of my numerous escapades to balibago just like what you do. sorry guys the last time i went a couple of months back i just did not contribute as i was not in the right frame of mind. anyway bro ah hia from your perspective what do you think? Is it better to pick up the bar girls and waitresses or the dancers. from my perspective i usually find the dancers to be dead fish in the room sometimes but the door girls and the waitresses are more passionate and give you a gf feel. what is your take bro ah hia |

Re: Angeles City (Balibago) Tips
After reading so much abt AC,wish 2 explore the place.
Planning 2 book around Aug'09(national day tat wk) Have some questions, hope bros here can help. 1)Booking the air ticket frm Tiger airway website,it says 2 Manila(Clarke),is it Diosdado Macapagal International Airport? 2)Is it raining season over tere? 3)Looking through the pages & some website site tat bros had recommend,Royal Amsterdam Hotel seems 2 be a better choice 4 a newbie like me 2 stay(Any other hotel tat bros would like 2 recommend, pricing range frm 1000p-1800p). 4)Frm fields ave---perimeter rd,if taking a trike, how much will it be? 5)Beside SM mall, any other shopping place near AC tat bros can recommend? Sorry 4 asking so many questions, hope bros can answer my doubts here. Tks in advance.
