I was spending quite some time in JB, due to some project attachment and it took me a while to get used to how our neighbours work. Anyway, one of the days while waiting for the client to arrive at a kopitiam, I was scrolling some job placement ads website when I chanced upon this ad posted by this newbie photograher.

"New to photograph. Looking for projects to test shoot." Or something like that. And next to it, there was a picture of a Chinese guy, slightly middle aged and with a beard. I read the profile intro.

"Hello. I am (let's call him KC). I am new to photograph hobby. Thank you for visit my page. Looking forward your support!"

English was terrible to say the least. And suddenly my eyes lit up.

Found KC's contact number and rang him up there and then.

"Hello is this KC?"

"Yes, who is this?" (In chinese). The background was very noisy and he was shouting into the phone.

I intro-ed myself and talked about how I found his contact bla bla bla. So I told him that I want to meet him up.

He said he was at a construction site and would call back to arrange. Sure enough, he called me back some time later and briefly over the phone, he told me that he only recently picked up the hobby (like only after CNY) and would just shoot family gatherings, flowers and animals when he got time. He also said that he was a construction foreman so he don’t really have much experience or the time to concentrate.

We arranged to meet up the next day. When KC finally appeared, I was puzzled.

KC can be considered realtively short, like maybe only slightly taller than my wife, barely 1.6m in my guess. He was in his mid 50s and wears those old man's glasses. His voice was slightly high pitched, some of his teeth are already gone and he spots a beard. Being in construction industry, he has a rough personality, and has a gold chain round his neck. He wears a white singlet inside his shirt and was sweating from the heat. Quite interesting.

So we got down to chatting about his work, why he picked up photography etc etc. I requested to see some of his photos, which he then took out an ipad and flipped the random shots for me. The shots actually looked ordinary.

Photos of family, buildings, plants, nature. Boring stuff. But there were also two photos of a model in what looked like an outdoor shoot.

"Wah, you do model shoots also ah?" I exclaimed.

"Heh heh. Ya lah, one time. Model was good." I just smiled. I knew then that this guy is also a blardy tiko.

"Eh so what you want me to shoot? Corporate building ah?" He asked.

"No lah, just casual shoot. Me and my fiance (dont know why i said that)."

"Oh you two getting married ah? I not that wedding type standard leh." KC replied.

"No lah, I also not looking for that type. Just casual shoot ah".

I shared with him that maybe I want to do an outdoor and indoor shoot.

"Where you want to do?" He asked. We throw in some hotel names and finally agreed on 'Something Spring' Resort in JB. He said ok and we agreed to do it on a 2D1N weekday as it is less crowded.
I then diverted the attention to say that maybe shoot do in traditional costume like cheongsam and second one just casual wear ah. Then I asked the price.

KC quoted me XXX amount which I said cannot lah. "Out of my budget". Since I will be paying for the hotel already and some more he had not much experience.

At that point, KC started to raise his voice a little, as if i am wasting his time. I then took out my phone and started to show him my 'fiancee's' photos.

Instantly, he calmed down abit once he saw my wife's photo. "Wah, you lucky man ah. Your fiancee pretty."

"Haha. But she shy lah." Obviously not true as there were some shots that showed her figure and of course, her big boobs.

"How, can lower your price anot?" KC finally relented and said, "Ok lah, we do for this XXX. Just to cover my petrol." We wrapped up our conversation and we set for the dates, which was to take place 3 weeks later.

Driving back to SG, I was already excited at what I had planned out for wifey.

Over that weekend, we were having lunch when I casually told her about my work in JB and the people I met. It was pretty dull until I mentioned that I found this photography package that I saw in the magazine. I told her that I already booked a session for the two of us, in which she was like a bit 'Huh? Why you want to shoot photo again?"

I told her it was just for casual shoot and also a good mid-week get away to JB to relax ah. Feeling bored, she just agreed to it, asking me got shopping anot? I told her "Yah got lah".

Somehow, this time around, I didnt want to pre-empt her that I was already preparing something for her. Nor am I in cahoots with KC. It's more thrilling, I guess, to let it play out naturally.

I eventually booked those suite with 3 bedrooms type for a Tuesday and Wednesday stay. I settled the logistics and updated KC as well. I told him to meet at 1130am at the lobby so that we can all do lunch before checking in at 2pm.

The weekend before, while out window shopping with Wifey, we decided on what clothes to 'model' in. I told her I wanted to do a traditional costume shoot for the outdoor one, just for the fun. She said, if like that, just wear the old cheongsam that she has. I suggested to wear kebaya type which she rejected.

Then for the casual, she was just thinking of wearing a sundress and hat. I then told her to go for something a bit 'daring' and modern. After much consideration, we decided to go with a bit western type. She picked out a denim short and a red-checkered shirt and platform shoes. Up til then, she still didnt have a clue about what my plans are for her.

Just after we had dinner after the shopping, wifey said that she wanted to do her nails to match the outfit. I told her why don't she just go and do her 'maintenance' also. By maintenance, I mean to go for brazilian. She was ok-ok with the idea until i said that I will pay for it, only then did she agree. So, as wifey was getting her things done, I called up KC.

"Eh brother, how are you? All ready anot for this week photo shoot?" I said

"Who is this? Oh its you ah. Ya ya, I am packing my camera, looking for the battery pack and all." He said over the phone. "But my work abit tied up ah, i try to clear before i go over."

We then had some small talk to finalise the meet up before hanging up.

The night before, as we were packing the clothes, I was running through Wifey's clothings. She packed the cheongsam and the main casual attire. I told wifey that we can go for a swim, so she picked out a 1 piece swimsuit. I then picked purposely chose a lingerie nightie for her. She saw the glint in my eyes and knows that I want her to be naughty on the night. So, I made sure that she got nothing else to wear for the night. Other than that, she packed a push up bra and some loose tank top and panties. Naturally, I was happy and was excited.

The morning came and we drove from our house after the morning peak hour. All the while, I was telling wifey about the casual shoot and spending some time with her away from Singapore. This is to 'set her expectations right'. The plan was to go to the resort for lunch, take 2 shoots, 1 indoor and 1 outdoor, have a swim before dinner and relax after that.

We arrived just shortly before 1130 at the lobby and since we cant check in until 2pm, we waited for KC to arrive to have lunch. Wifey was dressed in casual khakis and an undersize Bebe t-shirt. At about 1145, i spotted KC (coz he was short) and called out to him. He came over from the carpark and was with his luggage and camera bag. He was all sweaty from the heat.

I can sensed she was tensed, but that was also because I slipped in a good amount of Spanish Fly in her breakfast drink before we left house. So by lunch time, wifey was ready to fuck. But since it was in a public place, she had to control herself.

Once in the room, wifey looked and me and asked, "Are you planning something that you didnt tell me?" To which i said, "No dear. It's just the photoshoot and that's it."

"Are you sure?" She asked.

"Ya, why you so worked up? You dont like him?" I said jokingly.

"Well ya, he's abit dodgy and rough. And he's short. Never liked short guys. Especially shorter than me." She said.

"You're thinking too much. Let's settle down and start to dress up for the first one". I said.

"ok dear. But, i dont know why, I'm feeling.... hot..." She said. She walked over and gave me a hug and kiss.

"Maybe its the weather. I think you should shower first. I got some calls to make." I brushed her off as I grabbed my phone and pretended to make a call. She was abit annoyed, but went ahead to shower.

That was the time i used to set up my mini recorders. I Went to the living room and can hear that KC was also in the showers. I planted the recorders at a couple more locations, knowing that I cannot capture all angles.

FYI bros, I used a mixture of audio only recorders plus a couple of long lasting video only cams.
