cost for me today:-

Breakfast - Soya bean and fried bee hoon with egg 30 bhat
Lunch at Tops - Rat Nat (Hor Fun) 35 bhat, Fruits 15 Bhat
Dinner - Kao Kar Moo Special 45 Bhat

Total for the day - 125 Bhat. Slightly more than $5 SGD

But.....after 1 week here, 1st time so discipline spend so little on food in a day. Normally 200-300 Bhat/day.

If u are coming for a few days in bangkok hoping to have a good time, willing to spend a little more money, I recommend Palazzo Hotel.

Palazzo Hotel cost 1k baht over whereas Watana only cost 500baht over. U need to know what is ur budget and what are ur preferences as such comparisons are not justificable.

If u stay only a month, its 14400 baht for that month which includes water/electricity as well as room cleaning.

If u book beyond 2 months,it will cost u 5000Baht per month excluding water/electricity which could be hefy if u on your aircon all day.

Also,monthly rates do not include daily usage of internet or free complimentary breakfast. It only applies for normal daily 550baht booking. U need to let them know as well at the reception.

It is just like any other apartments in bangkok except that there is daily room cleaning as well as a 24 hr restaurant where u can call for room service anytime of the day. Also there is cheap laundry provided. And u do not have to walk long distances into the sois as its just near the main road.

U can email them for booking as they have people who reply the mails but takes a little while. Better to call them straight for booking.

People cant just compare apple with orange. The price is also so much difference. U dun expect to book Palazzo Hotel on a monthly basis. With the money,i rather get a good business serviced apartment then.

Watana Mansion has more long term based customers than short terms.

Basically there are 3 categories of food in bangkok.

1st type = easily accessible roadside stalls. Cheap and nice. very affordable by all thais as well as tourists. ( 100 baht = ard $4 can eat until very full? ) for 1 pax

2nd type = restaurants/foodcourts like MK,Daidomon/S&P/Oishi/ and others.
Have aircon,affordable prices just like in singapore. Cheaper actually. ( 200 - 300 per pax = $8-$12 )

3rd type = Real posh restaurants/ Hotel buffets as well as italian restaurants/jap and other cusines. Still cheaper than singapore pricing if u have a liking to dine there. ( 500 baht and above depending on what u order = $20 )

Still considered cheap compared to singapore. Foodcourt already cost u ard S$5 and above already without drinks.

holiday should dote on urself instead of cut corners here and there.

spend little on food,but willing to spend 2k and above for arb nam and girls rite.

Save on food and lodging and splurge on girls..hehee..

wah lau, 8 - 12 SGD is affordable prices in SG? SG food courts now cost more than 5 SGD, w/o drinks? wah, things in SG so ex oredi ah! Last time I oredi dun like food courts, portion so small, so ex, not full. Juz cos of stupid air-con, 4 those spoilt brat gals only.

Mebbe I used 2 those 3.5 RMB (0.7 SGD) big bowl beef/mutton noodles in PRC (those small shops in back streets by Xin Jiang Muslim pple) liao. Add 50 cents RMB, u can ask for 1 more tael of noodles! Even those Yun Nan Guo Qiao noodles, 8 RMB (1.6 SGD) oso damn big bowl wif lotsa chor bee hoon!

Probably 4 me, food is basically 2 fill stomach, as long as dun feel hungry can oredi. Those more expensive, high class food/restaurants, I think I'm sick of them, 2 much business entertainment oredi.

Errr, I not holiday leh, I staying in these places 4 some time 1 leh.

Actually, I kinda understand it. Different pple, different preference, different budget.

Juz like in PRC, I dun spend much on food, but I spend much more on parties. 200 RMB for ST, 800 RMB for LT gals (I oso ever spend much more on ST, but tat's real exotic fuck in private villas in outskirts), 400 RMB for opening liqour, & many more, etc etc.

Sometimes, I can even fly 2 PRC, juz cos I wanna fuck PRC pussies! Especially when I was in Taiwan. Many folks scratch their heads, why I wanna go mainland so much (at least once a month!), even outta my own personal pocket expenses!

Back when i was staying at outskirts of bangkok, every night when 5am i buy my food to eat before going to sleep at 8am at my nearby foodstall. They sell each item like 15baht and packed it into packs. Thais normally will order one or at most two items with rice and cost ard maybe 20-30baht.

But hor,we always order at least 5 items and cost around 100baht and more with rice. The boss knows me and my gf anyway cos most of the time during that morning we will buy and eat our meal.

The boss commented once that the food izzit for the whole day for two persons. But my gf told him that its only for one meal and mostly all my favourites one. Then we all laughed it off.

Gf told me then that normally if buy so much can eat breakfast,lunch,dinner for people of maybe 3 for those poor thais lah. I was like...hehee..spoilt in singapore liao...

True lah,imagine a meal 100baht for the normal poor thais not affordable since daily earnings ard 200 to 300 baht or more.

But seriously in bangkok 50baht can eat what? Even in carrefour if alone,i also change 200baht card and eat n drink /plus fruits/desert till ard 150 or 60baht. I like varieties and more choices instead of just one plate and a drink. that is me lah...different people different strokes.

Even roadside 30 or 40baht eat enuff and full meh??dun kid me leh...maybe i never go explore so i duno hw to find loh..if u ask me eat one plate at foodcourt sure not enuff...plus order other stuffs as well.

Foodcourt one dish already around $4 liao plus soft drink leh...already almost $6 and is standard and not those korean food or jap cusine leh.If those set meals or special ones,higher prices already. I used to eating assortments perhaps so maybe more expensive i think..hehe..

i also stay mah,but as long as i dun pay too much above the normal expenditure in singapore,i think ok to stick to my dishes.

Able to eat is bliss mah...i enjoying dining out good food. Babes can wait later...but i guess many bros prefer babes to food in bangkok.

I placed food quality and enjoyment above those paid sex. Never a better dine out with a close female friend eating than bed actions. Also i got lots of lobangs,dun need to spend 2k for ST at arb nam joints. Expensive for me since i can better use of the money to get same result.

walau, if I save on food and lodging at least got save lah...but I dun really save on food, like today b'fast lunch and dinner cost me 200 bhat liao....and consider all roadside stall and lunch at Tops.

2 nights ago went poseidon spent 2K liao, and then another 1.6K when joined my colleagues at the KTV on 1st floor. Last night went back again to the ktv but hengs its on supplier account.

Went to Nataree/Hi Class/Emmanuel/Poseidon and think Nataree have the best selection but friends prefer to relax at Poseidon. Will definitely go back again soon.

Anyone can recommend good KTV with not so high cost. The one I went to at Poseidon cost 1.6K for a whishky with room free, gal 1st 45in 420 bhat, subsequent every 45min 210 bhat.

Friend went to recce the one just beside huay kwang mrt stn, think call claudia, gal 1st 45min cost 750 bhat and subsequent 45min 250 bhat. 1 bottle at 2k+ bhat....but gal selection much better.

Anyone can intro other good ktv?
