I have one question- do you take money with you or leave in the locker? Everyone is always talking about tipping but not sure how to do that or what to do with money when in the pools, etc.

Sauna 18 in the morning


When I say morning, it means a place that has 24 hr service. When there is fire, you call fire brigade. For me, when I was on fire in Macau, I decided to go to sauna to cool down :_) On top of that, I was curious what they do offer in the morning, for example, the kind of gals, services and procedures…..etc. Hence I had decided to try so that I can share my experience here. All I saw was the worker cleaning the shower room and preparing for the day. There was no show at all in the morning.


After soaking in the pool for too long, and realizing that there was not action from the sauna, I had decided to leave the pool and I went to the changing room2. I switched on the table light and checked the menu on the small table. For those cost conscious bro, the menu indicated clearly the price package for sauna and the food available. A few things again, it is not legal to work there, just the govt turn a blind eye. HK turn mostly blind eye, but sometimes still have raids. (otherwise how an 141 and 161 operate). In china also mst 4 star/5 star have HC/Sauna with Full Service, but these are NOT LEGAL as well.

as for Macau saunas, I am under the understanding that they are all 24 hrs joints.

1500 for a Viet package is a little steep. The last time i climbed into a taxi and said I wanted a Jap, took me to Darling, the captain quoted us 1388 for Jap Package.

Anyway, its to each individual taste. Sleeping overnight in Saunas, normally, not at Darling or 18 or the leading ones, choose a smaller sauna (ask a cab driver, there are lots of them; or massage joints, you can also sleep overnight here after the massage.) As far as I have done so NO CHARGE.

Most Sillyporeans I know opt to cheong in Zhuhai as the economics make more sense. A typical sauna in ZH will cos between 250 - 300, compared to about double that in Macao.

Macau 18 Sauna

Other packages available include foot massage, leg massage, padicure, manicure, ear cleaning , etc

Foot and leg massage is based on per block of 25 minutes and foot cost HKD 200 and leg cost HKD 250.

In sauna18 or imperial sauna,

Money is kept in the locker. Do not worry. It is safe. The most important thing you have to be careful of is your locker key only.You wear this key and it is just like you went for public swimming pool here. When you tip the gal, they take down your locker key number. Any amount you wish to tip, you can write down on the bill.

Pls post your experience once you are back from Macau. Wow...really envy you. If you are brave enough, do try other sauna that i did not try.

I went to one at Emperor Hotel ... not too bad .. as classy as 18 but slighty smaller. The gal selection was high quality ... I could easily opted for 3-4 gals during one parade.
