Basically, for consumer we only care about timing, cost and convenience. I sometimes fly to krung tep via AirAsia and back SIN via TigerAir. It can be more cost effective loh ... just my $0.02 worth.

For both AirAsia and TigerAir, the earlier you book .. the cheaper it is ... so plan early .. else cost more when the sudden urge comes ...
