Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
We did well against a team full of weaklings.
Mourinho was the typical man as expected.

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
If you asked me before the match whether I would take a draw, I probably would have said yes, going by both teams' current form.
So on balance, can't complain, plus kept a clean sheet as well! Btw, congrats to King Kenny on the opening of the Kenny Dalglish Stand at Anfield earlier today |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Such a shame as Liverpool was much stronger going forward but lacked that killer finishing.
Jose had the tactics spot on, once again. Pierre.

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Do you agree with the rating? LFC player ratings: Gomez, Moreno excellent v rubbish United Posted by Jordan Chamberlain October 14, 2017 Liverpool and Manchester United played out a 0-0 draw at Anfield today, despite the home team dominating the ball and chance count. We played well, but didn’t create too many gilt-edged opportunities against an ultra defensive outfit. Jose Mourinho, who killed the game, will go home happier than Jurgen Klopp, who will rue misses by Matip, Salah and Can. At least one should have ben finished. Here’s how we rated the players: Mignolet: 6/10 – Made one good save from Lukaku. Had nothing else to do. Gomez: 8/10 – Consistently made tackles and showed real physical capability as well. Moreno: 7.5/10 – Improves every week. Feisty and hard working. Defended well. Matip: 6/10 – Defended well, but had his chance saved by David de Gea from 5 yards. Lovren: 6.5/10 – Good, as he has been for a number of games in a row, actually. Henderson: 6/10 – Saw loads of the ball, but misjudged his more aggressive passes. Wijnaldum: 6.5/10 – Dynamic first-half, less impressive second. Can: 6/10 – Battled well but lacked any creative spark. Salah: 8/10 – Brilliant first-half where he was easily the best player on the pitch – but took a shot off Coutinho’s feet and fired wide. Coutinho: 7/10 – Improved as the game went on and his close-control was predictably perfect. Surprisingly didn’t shoot very much, as he often does. Firmino: 5/10 – Very tidy until he has to make something happen in the box, the messes it up. SUBS: Oxlade-Chamberlain: 6/10 – One nice run and cross. Sturridge: – 5/10 – Did nothing.

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
JM have the cheek to say so?
Mourinho criticises Liverpool for playing too defensively… Posted by Biscan's Boots October 14, 2017 God this guy is an idiot, isn’t he…? Following Liverpool’s 0-0 draw with Manchester United at Anfield today, in which Jose Mourinho predictably parked the bus, the Portuguese claimed that we played defensively in the second half. This, from the manager of a team who kept ten men behind the ball at most times and tested our goalkeeper once. Here’s what Mourinho told Sky Sports after the game… “We came for 3. But in 2nd half we felt that difficult to do,” he began. “I was waiting for Jurgen to go more attacking, but he didn’t. He kept 3 strong midfielders the whole game. “He did well. He didn’t let the game break. They were very good from a defensive point of view. “For me, the 2nd half was a bit of chess, but my opponent didn’t open the door for me to win the game.” Mourinho’s patronising comments here are clearly meant to wind his opposite number up, but Jurgen Klopp will know what went on at this Saturday lunchtime. The Portuguese is renowned for murdering football matches and sadly, he got away with it again. His squad is the second most expensively assembled in the world, but this is just how he goes about his business. Klopp’s Liverpool are not getting the results at the moment, but there’s absolutely no way we’d swap him for Mourinho.

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Not such a bad weekend afterall looking at Chelsea and Arsenal's results.
We have no chance to win the title but the race for Top 4 may go to the wire once again. What is vital now is for us to get back to winning games and chalking up those 3 points, especially against the lower 10 teams. |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Very easy to shut out Pool nowadays.. Just park the bus n Pool will have problem scoring. Somehow Pool have lacked the killer instinct n it is clearly more so in the 2nd half. The play becoming very predictable n 1 dimensional..

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
could have taken 3 points but poor finishing cost us
as i said earlier without Mane we are only good for draw. 1 point is better than nothing. |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
It is not a parked bus they build the wall . Ah Gong can't believe that Liverpool did not win this game . With 19 shots and 5 shots at goal compare to them only 1 shot . That headless chicken again not preforming. Liverpool cannot keep on depending Coutinho and Salah . Last time Liverpool can beat the top 4 teams now only can draw. Luckily Liverpool did not loose .
