And they only want to deal with filipinos .. and non-filipinos are like "enemy of the state" and they are scratching their arse wondering why they are at the 10th place in Asia for tourism .. with so many natural attraction .. Like a parrot, they will keep repeating "please fulfil the requirements, before appearing in person .. " You know the best thing ? Since they open Sunday, a friend apply visa, advice to collect Wednesday .. and our friend happy happy, go on Sunday, the officer refuse to return passport "when I tell you Wednesday, come Wednesday, not at your convenience" and the friend say he had to beg, and write apology letter .. before passport return .. Our friend use to apply visa for other country, and you can always collect passport any day after collection day, if you are unable to make it .. NOT FOR PHILIPPINES .. And apply visa, half day leave and collection, again half day leave, before you leave Singapore, 1 freaking day of leave wasted You think Malaysia Boleh ?? Philippines very much boleh .. especially if you are in the visa-required-in-advance country list .. No, I didn't make up any of the above ..

Anyway so do u know what's the fees and things needed to apply tourist visa in Singapore Philippine embassy? What's your take of applying in sg before flying over? I mean like since it's a common practice in other country like u.s to apply in thier home country before going cos those ang mo usually can afford to stay long holiday. U have any experience of Singaporean friends apply in sg before flying over? I know some travel agent can do the extension for u with a fee without the need of u to be present at the office in ac or subic.but I just wanna know it's it better to get a 59days tourist visa in sg before going. Thanks.

Re: Angeles City (Balibago) Tips-Pickpockets
I cut and paste a good article i read from another forum. Good advise for our people.
" Pick-Pocket Teams At It Again- Warning For Tourists And Ex-pats Alike They seem to come and go and right now they are definitely here. Maybe when there have been too many complaints that the police can’t ignore them any longer and they just have to start doing something about them that the groups will disappear. Most likely they go to some other town and continue their game. One group is currently working between Check Point and the Clarkton Hotel. They work in a group for various reasons, one of course is for protection in the event that someone catches them red-handed and wants to beat the crap out of them. Another reason is because they work a plan. Several will get on a jeep and crowd a victim. One of them, usually a woman will drop some coins at the victims feet. When the victim bends over to assist the girl picking up her coins the guy sitting 2 spots over will reach around the guy between himself and the victim and lift the victim’s wallet. He quickly removes the cash and sticks the wallet under the seat and kicks it away from himself. Another technique, for guys that don’t carry a wallet is to use a razor and cut open the victim’s front pocket. These groups are trained professionals so it isn’t wise to take them lightly and just keeping your wits about you may not be enough. If you are riding a jeep and someone drops something at your feet.. that's a signal that the game is on... don't even think of bending over to help. Stare at everyone around you and make sure they see that you are paying very close attention to their every move. Never to carry anything valuable in your pockets and only take enough money to accomplish what you plan for your day or night. One particularly large team is now working on McArthur Hwy between Fields Ave and Robinsons Mall. When a jeep stops one young guy runs up and takes a look to see if there are foreigners riding inside, if so he tells the driver to wait for a minute and he signals his accomplices. About 8 to 10 guys varying in age from early 20 to mid 50’s will pile into the jeep and purposely crowd the victim. With 2 or 3 guys pushing and brushing against you it’s hard to focus on protecting your back pockets. All they want is the cash, they have no use for cards, either credit or debit. Taking a trike is considerably more expensive and haggling with a trike driver is a pain in the ass but in the long run is a whole lot cheaper and probably more convenient. Again, no matter where you’re going don’t carry any more money with you than you require. " Credit to Heyjoe. |

Re: Angeles City (Balibago) Tips-Pickpockets
rub&buah: better you get extension in Phil .. my 2 cents.. and you are right - maximum only 59 days .. before you need to do visa run ..
Just curious, you planning to hatch eggs in Phil ?? 59 day long enough to impregnate enough women .. Z: the pickpocket team is part of filipino culture, as much as robbery, kidnapping etc. etc. define "Only in the Philippine Islands" ... Especially for those who ride Jeepney .. would have been hit .. only once did I come close to getting stabbed for being nosey about a korean being marked .. and then the fellow next to me jabbed something sharp at my side .. indicating I should mind my own business .. No jeepney for me .. as much as possible, unless I am in Bagiuo or Tugegarao, or Ilocos, or IloIlo ... anywhere other than AC / Manila

Ha, don't worry. I always look at the bill everytime they add in something new. But it's a good point and a good rule to not be embarress and look at the bill so no surprises in the end. Sad to say my name no longer on any boards as they had to make room for newer members, seems like so many (Koreans) have replaced me. All that money spent and nothing to remember me by |

Many many thanks for your kind words. We go back many years and your support have been an inspiration for me to be "reborn" and continue on this forum. As much as I like to publish my old FRs, I can't as it all brings back bad memories of my start here. As you and some others have known, my early days here were not happy ones and I had quit being a Samster for a long time. Too much negativity and zapping me out of existence despite trying to be honest in trying to help others But people like you have revive me and hopefully I can stay "alive" with enough points longer this time and contribute as much as I can before being zapped out of existence again. Wow, you certainly have a very good memory. I totally forgot about little Ms "monstrous melon tits". It was almost the last night of my life and cheonging as I almost suffocated that night And Yes, the old days of AC were the best ever. No such thing as "padding" bar bills, double LD, Never heard of anything called a "runner". Those were the days when we were King. Don't worry about going broke with me as I could be the King of cheap charlies (ha ha, sorry to take that title away from you bro Ziebart). I am all for bar hopping at 200p per bar all in and with a good time too. Cheers PT Last edited by phantomtiger2; 19-06-2011 at 08:28 AM. |

Re: Angeles City (Balibago) Tips
Hi Little Gun. You know I mean no offense or any harm but just having a little fun here so I just have to say it. Man, 20,000p at one bar and not even one bell ringing to have your name in lights on the board for at least a year or more.--ha ha, sorry as I just had to say it. Again, just having a little fun here. And if we meet up, 1st beer on me, (and same offer always open to bro's Lord, Ziebart and Etsys) Cheers to all. PT |

Good points and just to add: just take enough for the one night spending and even with that amount, separate them into several pockets so even if they do lift off you, it'll be 1/4 of what you are carrying. Again, remember don't resist as you are always outnumbered at least 4 to 1 and many are armed. |

I reply to you before but perhaps you missed it so I will repost it again (I think it was post #2678): --------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi Bro, Truth is, Santos st quality is more on the low side. Sometimes you may find a decent one that was fresh off from the provinces. I have found a few gems here but they are more the exception rather than the norm. So just have to have a little luck on your side as the turnover rate is very high here among the younger providers. Now the older ones seem to never change and I've been going here for many years and seeing the same faces. Santos also open earlier so when nothing to do during the early afternoon, can't hurt to just walk around here. So on average I would rate the scales as follows (from best lookers to worst): Fields---follow by Perimeter----follow by gals in the discos (Skytrax), as this is a sum of all the areas but were not chosen yet----then the Subdivision area (near the Casino area)---then Santos St---and lastly the SW near Santos. But having said that, you will also find that Santos often live up to its name --It's not called "Blow Row" because of the whale watching (although I have seen a few "whales" there So give it a try as its cheap enough to do so, including the beers as its also cheaper there. Let me know if you need anything else bro. Cheers PT ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ And just to add as you had several new questions about this place. I had taken gals from here before but this is not my normal place to hang out so its rare for me to BF from here. But I do stop by here once in a while for a beer and chitchat and a change of scenery. So Yes, you could barfine them from here and have the option of ST or LT. (Note: the LT rates here are almost the same as a BF from a regular bar) No, the gals here are not always the best performers (at least not the younger ones). But I think the white guys are not all BS and could be correct as I often see them take out the "older" women here rather than the younger ones b/c they have more experience and willing to perform better so they could get repeat BFs as they may not get BF too often. Can't image any of us picking them up though. And Yes, the rooms there are more like a brothel ST room so don't expect a clean luxury bed sheet with every customer( I think the sheets may be change once every day or two). Also the room you bang them in are often their actual bedrooms that they share with 2-3 other gals in the same bed, so if you want to see how they share rooms and live then here's your chance for a PI education. Again, let me know if you need anything else. Cheers PT Last edited by phantomtiger2; 19-06-2011 at 09:16 AM. |

And the money belt too doesnt' have much, so you get caught for a pat down, it doesn't evoke unwanted interest .. and always trim it to make sure nothing it jutting out ... and if possible, I stick only 1,000 peso notes, and my credit card and Driving license (for identification if asked) and nothing more .. Something like For fxxks sake, Don't ever use the leather 'money belts' they sell in phil, as most pick pockets know the belt, and know how to nick it ...
