agree bro , my freind went for fortune telling when he was young , and that guy told him , he only have a lifespan of 40 years , and all hell broke loose when my friend was turning to 40 soon , he will tell us that he is leaving soon and wat he want for his funeral , which photo to use , and finally the day come , he ask many of us to accompany him for breakfast , and he stuffed himself with so many foods untill we thought he gonna explode , after breakfast we accompany him home , when we reach his floor at 29 , suddenly he just ran and jump over the parrapet , he's already airborne , when one of my friend manage to grab him in . now he 46 or 47 already .
i think the fortune telling thing really hit him hard that he have it in his mind for 20 over years untill he turn 40 .

stumble upon tis `interesting' thread so just sharing my 2 sense.

Understand to a point tat most past things tat happened in our lives are already sketched on our palms in fine print and can be read by even novice fortune tellers. This could be the beginner course all fortune tellers need to attend and pass (get license). Provided the Master is trained well, he or she can actually recall most of our history 95% accurate, with 5% as disclaimer. Sadly even top masters will be able to predict future events only vividly. In fact most times they can only drop very subtle hints. Perhaps knowing the fear of letting out god's secrets would ultimately decrease his life span prevents him from telling us when we are going to be summoned to the next world.

And naturally the honest fortune teller will always avoid discussions abt wealth instead advising tat a person should live life to the fullest and be self-contended. Tat is the riches wealth of all instead of worldly monetary gains.

Lately there seems to be loads of advertising with regards to fengshui masters and fortune tellers splatted everywhere in magazines. Is tat a good sign or is tis biz too profitable to ignore?

The consequences of knowing our good or bad future can be extremely frightening and expensive to the weak hearted. Once the fear is exposed by an unscrupulous fortune teller usually means the parting of huge sums of $ meant for something else. Most times ended up buying something which has been marked up 100times but less useful than a paper weight.
This scenario is happening everyday somewhere in Sg now.

Your life or your future can always change if you are determined and mentally strong enough. Even the lines on our palms can be altered as long as you do more good and not committed any big sins.

Even the Pope (man closest to God?) wishes for peace on earth every x'mas. Wouldn't God have told him wats happening next?

Let's use more logic shall we! As sporeans we have long been told wat to do with our lives, don't see why we need more help..

Talking about fortune telling...share with everyone here.
I engaged fengshui master b4...palm reader...number reader ( cant rem the correct term to use, but they used number to predict ur luck etc )...and fortune teller that based on ur birth date/time/year using 通书. All in all I would say those that based on 通书 and are quite accurate...at least on my personality, strength and weakness. Fengshui I only tried once in 2000 .and the guy come to my house and look see...put some stuff in my house and of cos he also do a bit of fortune reading base on my bai zhi...pretty accurate cos again he used the standard 通书 everyone is using. He told me i will have some money luck and the following year I kena 4D 5 times ....I never have any luck on 4D but,....2001 is my best year...at least for 4D...so I would say he is good..or maybe the stuff he put in my house is good. But after 2001...no more 4D luck for me.....kena makan by Pools every week. Most of the fortune teller I consult told me the same thing...I have to work hard for money...I dont have 横财。Quite true except for year 2001. Nowaday I dont go for fortune telling anymore....cos what they said are pretty standard. They will tell you your personality. strength, weakness etc which I believe you should know yourself better...no need to ask him. They wont be able to change your luck/career etc , at least for those I have consulted. I do believe fengshui can do something about your luck/career but it is not cheap if u get those famous one...and sometime you need to change some layout of your house..so it is quite troublesome. For my house...my kitchen stove is facing my hall and this is one of the worst layout in fengshui aspect ( fire burn your hall )and the master ask me to make curtain or door in between the kitchen and hall but I am kind of lazy to do it...must get ppl to install etc...so i just leave it. Til date...I would say my job/family still ok...no big problem...didnt become rich ..but at least I dont have to worry for 3 meals.

somehow there are some of these street fortune teller anyhow one. to verify the fact could look for more reccomendated ones to see whether tallies or not.
