sorry,i am not good at writing FR,but just tht i should share a little as my knowledge before reaching Batam was mainly from this thread.

Exchange rate was 8850 from Habour Front money changer 1st floor indian shop,from Batam opposite Formosa is 8800.

Read about 100 threads and come to a single conclusion. Since I don't know Malay or bahasa, go there find ojek to bring me around. Any bros going there let me know. Will join for drinks.

I ask cos if you booked Goodway,can help me note down the direction how to reach Gold bird from Goodway cos i hear it's pretty nearby.Being a newbie, I plan to explore more of the surrounding around formosa for the 2nd time in this coming April. Went there few days ago with a fren.

The place is dirty and rundown (is a new place, right??), Moonlight or Bluemoon much MUCH better.

Both the girls msg skill were next to nothing. And they wanted Rp 300K for HJ!!

Dont waste your money there. There are still many better places than this.

So, me and my friends went to Batam for the first time.

After reading up alot here, we decided before hand to go find a ktv joint, and head over to delta for spa and massage.

Upon reaching, we checked in to hotel, and drove around to look for ktv. Time was about 9pm singapore time.

Our hotel was around Nagoya entertainment district, so the 6 of us just circle around the area. Our 1st stop was a big place called "BC". 1st floor was pool/billiard, 2nd floor juz a huge place , almost like a pub, and third floor onwards was KTV.

Since it was our 1st time there, and considering it is our 1st time chionging, we were shy, and clueless. It sure didnt help.

We were at the receptionist when we oyapayyasom, loser go and talk to the kapten to ask about pricing and such.

After hearing all the info that we needed, we were told that the rooms are fully book, and we can just leave our number for reservation. So the 6 of us discussed in a circle, when suddenly, a group of more than 15 ceweks came out from the room area. Im guessing they were just finish with the "contest", and those that were leaving the room wasnt picked.

They were giggling as they walked pass us, one grabbed my butt, the other touched my face, while the rest just giggled. Well, i was really excited and i knew that the night was going to be a good one.
