Actually, what bro banana said is very true. You really need to mix/know those pple in the trade, get to know more about the nature/operations, then its feasible to start a HC, or even a TN. That's goes for KTV too.

Not saying that if you dunno, you can't start but high chance that it won last long lor

Thank you all for the advices and postings. I know you all mean well. The chinese has a saying, " If you don't fight each other, you may not know him at all!". So let's move on and if we happen to meet one day, we can sit down and have a good laugh together. Sometimes we take life too seriously.
The TN business model works differently than that of a HC. I would think that the TN bus. is more of a "hit and run" thingy.
BTW, bro. Banana, you have a good break at Puket.

50k indeed could run a HC, jus 2 share my little info, Leisure HC at East Coast(not Bukit Timah), beside tennis centre, has a remaining 0nly 8-9 months lease, going at less than 20k 4 takeover, 15 rms, hot& cold pool, TV lounge, central food lounge 2, easily approx. 3000sq ft.Mth rent at 8k, utilities at 3k/mth.
Our reason 4 not taking up...we could run this HC 4 a profit within the short time, however when the hard laid foundation is laid we have 2 move on...not a good chance to re nego with Tennis centre management 4 a re-lease.

Jus 2 add on...what I heard onli... DHC a wholly family run HC biz, iz d successful model of big invests 4 big returns...market talk was , initial start up , was recovered within a yr...11 months actually...there on pure $$$ in d pockets...

Ok, you enjoy yourself but do be careful. Actually the best place to stay is at the Laguna area. Try the Bayan Tree villa or the Sheraton Laguna.
