Can I query the regulars to Balai? Our taxi association is organize a 2D1N trip to Balai in August. They is charge $328 for ferry, hotel, meals & transport. Is the price worth it? Or is it better to go on our own?

I think many Lao Jiaos will agree if I say that at that price point, a cewek should be included... But of course, the taxi association need to fill its pocket too....

Gotta press a lot of Meter Start + CBD + Call Charge to cover the $328 loh....

Yes, the man is right. $328 should include cewek charges.. Here's my own break down for 2D1N. Do note that I do not control my budget when I go there just wanna fully enjoy w/o restrictions so end of the day it boils down to how you spend..
Ferry 2 way -$56
Spirits from DFS - $22
Currency converted - $200
Hotel - $48

From the currency converted I still had a few hundred K left even though I anyhow spend but tipped it to the cewek insteAd.

Some noob questions which I hope Seniors here can share, as it is too tough searching through the 150+ pages.

* From SG, where can I take the ferry to Balai? What are the ferry charges?
* Any recommendations for Drivers?
* How much does Cewek charge? Does the cost of 600,000 - 800,000 means that the Cewek will accompany me for 1D1N?

Honestly speaking don't read through the whole 150 Pangestu, just Posts beginning from this year.. It acts as a good crash course.. Esp if you plan to fly solo, you won't be as blind as a bat then.
