I did that, hang 5 pcs. above our main house door few years back. Over the years, the color of the coins oxided and darkened. I did not know that I have to change it every year. I was told to use year "1997" (which I do not know why) and if you do notice that this "1997" coin is especially shinning compare to others. Some people told me that I was wrong as I should use '1998' as it was a good year then. I took them down last year and changed to 五帝铜钱. Hope that all are well this year

I tried before but was unsuccessful. In the end, I hanged those old coins used in Qing Dynasty as they got holes.

Of course, not effective as I think most of the Qing Dynasty coins sold in Singapore are fake ones.

Do you know if we should hang the 5-帝钱 (tie in row sequence by a red string) outside the main door, or inside the door (above head)? I pasted it inside above the main door, using blue-tag, but wonder if I have done it wrongly as the coin has 2 faces. Please advise.

U can use blue-tag or double-sided tape and paste those Sin Coins with the pak-kua facing out, onto the door just above your door.

帝钱 must look for those old coins with some green fungus on it and the letterings can't be read clearly. Those very glossy (gold) and shinning are fakes.

You can actually place 8 $1 coins underneath a Red carpet or red floor mat with a shape of the "ba gua" which is 8 sided.

Placed them inside your house front door not outside as your coins might go missing.

This will also bring in good luck and good tidings to your family too

they charge super high fees for outdoor consultation too. but actually all they do is just bring a over decorated compass.
