Good move by pool to get the saints player b4 he s off to the world cup.cos if he does well at the wc than his price tag will shoot up...so good wrk by the trfs department...its best to sort things out b4 the wc gets under way.

- Which specific position(s) Liverpool need strengthening in the summer
- Any possible realistic players that comes to mind
- Which current Liverpool player(s) that Brendan Rodgers should sell/loan

Guess most of us here would be sad if Suarez leaves Pool next season. Afterall, it was he who single-handedly lifted us to where we finished this season.

Is he worth 82m? Well, it's debatable. CR7 raised eyebrows when he was sold fr Devils to Real for 80m. But he has been an immense success, on n off the field. He sells jerseys, he endorses for the club, he's an ambassador. His compatriot Bale cost more than him but I think it was a really bad investment.

Can Suarez promise that kind of success? For one, He does not have a squeaky clean image, plus as some bros mentioned, he's not tested n proven in ECL. Big clubs like Chelsea n MC know how to frustrate n shut him down like what we saw in the recent games.

If an offer of 82m comes along, I think Pool should juz bite the bullet n sell. We have to think for the long term future cos we are a club, tho well-backed financially is tight on the purse strings.

Even if Suarez chose to stay next season, he might still leave the season after next. We know he has great ambitions. We could have the same dilemma as Devils with CR7 few seasons ago but they hv regrouped very well since (save for this season).

Im abit worried cos Pool have not been known to be really astute in the transfer market. True, we have a few hits but there are many more misses. BR n his scouting team would really have to work much harder finding the right replacements. Athletico Madrid would be a really good role model for us to emulate!

Now is the perfect time to snatch him away from Spurs and deliver that 'sucker punch'.

He is unhappy that next season there is no Champions League football at White Hart Lane.

With seven goals and eight assists in 22 Premier League matches, it was an awesome season and Eriksen will surely give Liverpool that much needed creativity.

Rodgers is ready to table a 22 million pound bid for him, so good luck mates.

I think Pool will have a greater chance to sign Lallana then Eriksen.

Eriksen was the only bright sparks from spurs 7 signing this season. It's unlikely they will let him go after just a season, their fans will tear down Levy office for sure

Even if they do sell, with that calculative Levy around, we will definitely be made to pay for more than he is currently worth.

I dare not think about playing in the CL without LS.

Even with money, there aren't many player of his calibre that we can bring in to replace him.

Shoring up the defense has to be our priority.

No point in getting a player who does not want to play for us. To jolt your memory, he was one of the first few players that BR wanted and Liverpool & Spurs were both in a tussle for Eriksen but he chose to go to Spurs instead.

I dun tink BR has forgotten that episode and with the Dempsey saga going on as well during that transfer window, BR ended with NO players coming in and had to rely on kids from the academy for the 1st of the season.

Caulker is a Tottenham boy, somehow Spurs players/supporters are like MU..... they all dun like Liverpool so I doubt he will agree to come as there are several other big name clubs chasing him as well.

A small news off the track... Chelsea will seal the deal for Diego Costa for 32 million pounds.

It was amazing to understand the 3 present forwards scored a combined of 19 goals while Hazard himself clocked in 14.

Since BR is targeting Lallana, why not do a double deal and go for his teammate Lovren as well. He is a ball playing defender that can play across all the defensive positions and cool as cucumber, also versatile as a DM.
