Re: Tottenham Hotspur - the Pride of London
=> Preview our FA CUP Quarter Final - FULHAM vs SPURS.....
Guessed it dun look really good for our SPURS with several key players injured liked LENNON,BENTLEY,JENAS,HUDDS,KING,WOODGATE...and latest BALE...we are definitely "weakened Underdogs"...vs a full strength FULHAM team...So what "tactics" will be used by HARRY ???....Probably he will be desperate enough & want SPURS to play for a DRAW so that we can get a Replay @ WHL !!!.... But the Bookmakers have already predicted a home Win by FULHAM... So what do U SPURS BROs think ???... |

Re: Tottenham Hotspur - the Pride of London
bros i'm late but better late than "ever"!
bale is man-of-the-match, modric scored an unforgetable one... but the player who stood out for me is niko kranjcar. this guy is absolutely one of the best attacking midfielders in the land now. numerous good shots, passes and dribbles from him. he scored for croatia in the midweek friendly with belgium, but unfortunately both countries are not going to south africa. Roman Pavlyuchenko and Jermain Defoe celebrate after the Russian's opener against Everton Luka Modric scores a sublime second goal for Tottenham against Everton |

Re: Tottenham Hotspur - the Pride of London
Spurs vs Fulham....
This is indeed a tricky tie. Spurs currently have a number of players down with injuries. On paper, Fulham seems an average team but the 2 times that they met, Fulham actually drew 0-0 with Spurs and only lost in the other encounter. Nevertheless, I'm predicting a narrow victory for Spurs. Maybe 1-0 or 2-1. COYS

Re: Tottenham Hotspur - the Pride of London
spurs 3 bb 1
man-of-the-match: gareth bale and spurs is 4th with 52 pts! liverpool 51. Jermain Defoe opens the scoring for Tottenham against Blackburn as he turns home at the far post. Tottenham striker Roman Pavlyuchenko was on target again to help defeat Blackburn at White Hart Lane and maintain his side's hopes of a top-four finish in the Premier League. Pavlyuchenko had been unsettled for most of the season and looked set to leave during the January transfer window but stayed at the club and has now played a big part in Spurs' push for Champions League qualification. Jermain Defoe opened the scoring against Sam Allardyce's men, then Pavlyuchenko doubled the lead before Christopher Samba pulled one back. Hopes of a Blackburn comeback were dashed when Pavlyuchenko scored his eighth in his last six games and even Spurs boss Harry Redknapp, who has been at loggerheads with the Russian at times during the campaign, was up celebrating. Roman Pavlyuchenko celebrates his second goal of the game, making it 3-1 to leave Blackburn's hopes of a point in tatters. |

Re: Tottenham Hotspur - the Pride of London
to be the first english player to appear in 4 world cups... dashed...
England midfielder David Beckham has torn his Achilles tendon, according to AC Milan boss Leonardo, and his hopes of playing at the World Cup would appear to be over as he is set for surgery in Finland on Monday. The on-loan 34-year-old, a former Three Lions captain, hobbled out of the late stages of Milan's win over Chievo on Sunday night and it is speculated that he could now be facing between five and eight months of rehabilitation after pulling up when unchallenged. |

Re: Tottenham Hotspur - the Pride of London
=> Still feeling wide awake after watching SPURS narrowly beat STOKE 2-1 Away !!!...Of course damn happy that we managed to grab tis 3 PTS !!!...Especially with so many key players injured...or with too many yellow cards with potential match ban !!!...We have such an important replay with FULHAM mid week !!!...
We almost left "red face"...after taking the lead we have both our own defenders CORLUKA & EKOTTO pushing each other...and we were damn shaky defending...and damn lucky to get away with blunders from DAWSON & BASSONG...Of course EKOTTO giving away the penalty...wc was really unnecessary !!!... With STOKE down to 10 Players & if we were to draw or even lose...it will be so bloody embarrassing to think we are really a potential Top 4 Team !!!...HARRY & his team will be damn busy in coming weeks !...And now HARRY must be regretting putting few key players on loan liked KEANE & O'HARA !!!... Come ON U SPURS !!! Andyk |

Re: Tottenham Hotspur - the Pride of London
=> => => SPURS 3 vs FULHAM 1 <= <= <=
Superb comeback in the 2nd Half with BENTLEY's freekick, then PAVY's continued hot scoring streak...and damn GUD winning goal that "destroyed" FULHAM....U could see that some of their stars liked DUFF & ex-SPURS players liked DAVIS,ZAMORA,MURPHY...were struggling after playing all out in the 1st Half !!!....We were unlucky not to equalised with close attacks but lack the deadly finishing !!!.... For once,i'm really glad that HARRY's tactics worked wonders...and tis current SPURS team are have that "fighting spirit" !!!... Happy that we are in the Semi's & O'HARA will be crying again & NOT be playing !!!... Well done,SPURS !!! Andyk |

Re: Tottenham Hotspur - the Pride of London
That's DAMN GOOD man! Semi-final must win! Then a FINAL...another Huge CUP in the Trophy Cupboard. Let's put together our prayers for Spurs. They deserve something for the hard work coming back near the top, after having dangled at low ladder for several seasons. Despite all this, credit to Redknapp too.
