Re: Bangkok Field Report
Happy new year guys!
My virgin trip to bangkok more or less confirm 18-27 feb. happy to meet bros there and buy first round. Not much of a drinker myself lol. Btw still undecided on the hotel. Location wise I'm torn between staying at Sukhumvit and Hauykwang. After lurking at this thread for a while , I think most likely will favor the massage places bros recommend at Hauykwang. Maybe even visit daily. But Sukhumvit seems to be the more happening place and as a first timer I like to sample everything. Thought of splitting my stay into staying at 2 hotels, 1 at each location but feel like too stupid a choice lol. Anyway based on recommendation from bros here from pages afew months back, i think i narrowed down the cant go wrong choices: soi 18 park plaza, aetas, aloft... Any bros know if best western plus and ramada encore are good choices too? They are abit cheaper and seem not too bad. Sorry for rambling. Cheers guys |

Will be going on my first trip next month so hope to contribute with some reports too. I most likely will make a lot of mistakes as haven't been to Thailand before and last time i cheong was quite some time back. Nevertheless should be fun lol. |

Saw you asking about hotels and i think i can assist. Park Plaza Suk 18, Aetas and Aloft are all good. Best Western as well. For me In Residence and Golden Tulip Mandison offer the best deals at the moment. Your trip and hotel plans sound very familiar. Did we chat yesterday? Ramada Encore offer tiny rooms. I would not stay there. Tim |

Re: Bangkok Field Report
Milan suit just on the right of sheraton sukhumvit is good. Shop not the modern looking type but Mr Milan has plenty of experience. If looking for something more high class, Narin Coulture is well recommended, one of the best in bkk but price also one of the best. located betw Asoke and Nana bts on the side of the road of Immsonia.

Re: Bangkok Field Report
Hello Samsters,
Anyone here will be making a trip to either "Bangkok, Pattaya or Chiang Mai" during the CNY period from 11 Feb to 22 Feb 2013 ? If you are keen to meet up to explore some of the interesting places together, PM me with your contact.
