I have no idea as well, i saw your post before it got deleted though. But suggestion noted, will make sure next trip stop at harbourbay instead. As for hotel wise, as long as the room is decent, its ok for me alr, as travelling around batam is so easy. I have no problem getting grab there.

Thought of sharing some updates from a recent trip.

Venew spa / batam City Hotel, pricing has a 30% discount off published price (not sure for how long). Went for the mid price selection which is a room with bath tub at 425k (before discount) with add on for the warm oil at 45k. Good massage place and pricing includes SOP VM. Tip the gal for good service and spent about 1 hr at the pool. Quite a nice place to chill before dinner.
On the hindsight, was wondering if fj might be on the table if I choose the 485k room option (hotel room - no 30% discount) as it does provide more privacy. I could hear the hand slapping / cupping sounds produced from massage next room.
Saw some posts about the A2 food Court.
Won't really consider the place "cheap" but it reminds me of a batam version of lau pa sat. Still enjoyable with eye candy beer promoters walking around. Helps if you are a good drinker and can mix it up with a few different beer brands. Few of them sat down at my table nearer to the end of their work to drink together.
Food pricing went up over the last 2 months but its not at an unacceptable level.

l think if using cable provider indihome best for service and first media for speed

but if wireless connection using telkomsel orbit

Thanks, decided to go for First Media as Indihome has 1 year contract. Penalty 1 juta if didn't subscribe for 1 year.

I went for another trip on monday and came back today. This time tried michat all the way. Its a disaster. All 3 I got were baby elephant or gorilla. Only decent thing I got out of michat is one if the massage advert. They always send young, small size girls that look decent. too bad not all of them provide extras. One of them quoted 500k for hj and the other rejected any extra. Also tried buying naked pics and video chat. Not so bad looking and nice body, but in the end got quite greedy and keep asking for more money so I stopped.
This time round stayed in hotel 89. Location was near penuin market. Lots of local food, A2 foodcourt and my favourite clean massage place Indo-Thai just 5mins walk away.
