Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Yes, not an easy league but (hate to say that) sometimes the likes of ManC and Scum seemed to make winning look so easy, whether home or away!

Want to buy Shane Long? Your manager BR seems to be impressed by him.

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
must say Saints really won my respect tonight. 1-0 down, they fought, equalised, then led, before conceding another 2 goals to lose the match. they can keep their heads high when they leave the stadium. it wasnt a rout many expected but they made the champioins toiled and sweat at home for the entire 90 mins with some nice passing football!!! BR was there too; Im sure he must have wished Pool would play with that kind of zest and spirits!

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Second half was the worst I have seen of a Pool side in a long time, we could have been properly hammered.
To change the subject a bit, how did our new guys do? BR praised Allen. I can't see well on streams (no longer paying for cable). Saw him a couple of times and Borini also seems pretty mobile out wide. Comments? |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Is Shane what long a proven goal scorer or cheater? our manager has been busy with his notes taken down during the last match. So he is looking at short term fix now instead of 'Long' ! Got it?

We sucks big time. 3-nil to wba. Haha.. I know its the 1st game but we are expected to win. Bookies make lots of $$$$. We are not even in the fight at all. Very disappoint. No spirits and fight in our play. We should played 4-4-2. Thats my view on our formation.

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
I think Joe Allen did reasonably well. In fact, I thought he was our best player against West Brom other than Pepe Reina!
His passing were accurate, 97% if I'm not wrong. Something like 34 out 35 successful passes. He also made a few interceptions and tackles. The only thing I think he was lacking in was that he hardly had the chance to bring the ball forward to make through passes or take shots. Maybe because he was playing too deep thus he was not able to have an influence on the game. Borini, I'm not sure what to say about him. Most of the time he was anonymous on the left hand side. I thought Glen Johnson was more of an attacking threat on the left than him. |
