I think a lot of people goes in a hurry to get married before they consider everything when they are bf/gf just for the sake of getting a HDB.

Or sometime when you are dating, the gf 'pressured' you to get married and you give in. My first gf is like this. After steady for 5 months, she started to bring me to bridal shop and read those wedding magazine etc. Then ask me to hold engagement with her. I give in cause I know if I object sure quarrel. Barely 1 year later we broke off cause I find she is too sticky and bossy for me. Can't imagine what will happen if we really got married. Still got phobia over marriage cause not sure if it is a death sentence or happily ever after.

Sometimes I wonder what is the real purpose of marriage? To apply for HDB flat or to have babies, or that the two person r really in love..

Some even worst, marry because made the girl pregnant.. I am a firm
Believer that shotgun marriage will never be happy because the guy marry the girl because she is shotgun n not because he love the girl.. So sad!

If a couple(bf n gf) been together for 10 years n still not married, something wrong with the relationship? N if the man marry the woman he love, but went out to bed FB/FL/ prostitutes/sluts, does it mean he dont love the woman as much as before?

But it's only when two are married, only then they know if they love each other. I think the government should consider giving couples trial period to be husband n wife, then the divorce rate won't be so high.

But sadly to say, nowadays people are marrying for the sake of buying HDB flat... Luckily from paying deposit to taking keys for a BTO flat is 3-4years, if anything happen within this period still in need to break off n forfeit the deposit.. If the government has set the rules that only married couples can apply for BTO flats, then it's really for wrong reasons that people are applying for the flats.

Maybe I m the type who think a marriage won't last if even in a relationship, quarrels n betrayal happened.. Why marry n then divorce a year later? Waste time n money. N worst have to wait 5 years before the flat can be sold.

Love is what makes life worth fighting. It makes everything today seem so worth living and striving for.

End of the day, its the memories that love leaves behind which makes life not just any life, but a life worth remembering.

Like many bros, i fear falling for the wrong girl. Used to yearn for a syt gf. But, given passage of time, the ideal partner seems to be just a normal office going girl who would be home on time and take care of house and kids. What a funny and ironic realisation.

Some things u just got to give it your best and hope that all works out well. I am also due to get married for the 2nd time. Only difference is i know i love this girl as much as she loves me. Heck, this is not some stupid infatuation, but an actual full blooded love relationship. This time i really wanna work it out right and have the right to proclaim that the girl i married is the one i love the most. Heck. she should be the only one I have ever loved.

Bro....me in same situation too, but me fighting hard not to get overboard cos it's not gg to get anywhere unless u r prepare to give up what u hv now........nw i try to live by this motto....."Reminisce the past, treasure the present and anticipate the future".........

Used to like this gal a lot. She got married not long ago. Didnt keep in touch also cos someone's wife liao. Then she suddenly sms me say havent hear from me for long time and how ve i been. :/

I was thinking last time 6 mths to 1 yr never keep touch she also bo la sa. :/ i reply sms ask her how she is and she didnt respond liao.

Gals really not easy to understand. I zi dong disappear precisely cos she married. Now really wondering wtf happening to her? Any comments?
