A bad news from my side, when i returned back to Singapore from Batam after the auntie/uncle Batam trip, i received a letter from OCBC that they have terminated my structured deposit which gives me 2.05% per year after 2.5 years (which is suppose to last 6 years and 3.5 years more to go). So went to withdraw my deposit there few days ago and close the that account. Maybank act fast too, immediately the next day after i receive that letter, they downsize their fix deposit interest from 2% (or 2.1%) to 1.88%, so i am kind of stuck,hehehe...

HSBC's endowment only for people under 65, hence i am giving it a miss for now.

Anyway, i am still keeping a close look out as of now,hehehe...

They terminated the structured dep account probably its not to their advantage going down the road. No compensation for u for their early termination?
Maybank i also just renewed for another year at 1.88%. HSBC endowment Dep for 3 years only for residents from age 16 to 61.

If ur the boss of a shop, would u open ur shop at 1 pm? I would want my stocks to be cleared...sooner the better. At TBK, 8am already open for business.

I went to several booking joints on Monday morning. Bunka and Sri candy didn’t opne till 1pm and the others were fully ready. Some girls were still sleeping or getting ready. So I think before noon is too early.

Usually most Massage Parlor that disguise as a booking joint opens at around 10am, and those KTV that disguise itself as a booking joint starts at about 1pm. For massage parlor during weekends, it tends to open a bit earlier than usual.

If you can make it to the a joint at their best timing you probably wont be able to make it to the next one on time (it wont be in the best time). Hence plan you route to move around promptly and NOT too many of them in a single day so as to get yourself as close to their opening hours as possible.

Thats what i usually do.

In a single weekday, i cover about 4 booking joints and for weekend, only 3. No point getting girls after sunset on my part, as they were mostly rejects or "would-be runaways". To get the best girlS, i would normally go a day ahead to book the girl who has already been book in advance by others on that day that are NOT YET send (or pick-up) to their customer's hotel yet.

Its lunch time again, so this time i planned to go to Rezeki Seafood restaurant. They close around 7pm, hence i planned this for lunch.

As usual, taxi driver get free meal and drink, a commission is probably given for non-taxi driver.

The 1st dish turns up..

None of which i was interested hence didnt take much photos on the food.

But i still got my lemon chicken and kangkong tho,hehehe...oh, what the crab is this....wait,i think thats our crab.

Walk around and notice a few things. Notice what type of alcohol Rezeki is selling in their shelf? Yes, its China's Moutai...

It goes to show the China Chinese frequent that restaurant too. They even got double-happiness cigarette for sale too,hehehe...

Anyway, the whole bill for about the almost same type of seafood yesterday noon at Kopak Jaya 007 kelong seafood is 980k rupiah. Cost more, but aunties and uncles claim the food taste better than yesterday's lunch. Well, again its to each of its own since i am no sea food person and not in my capability to say whats good or whats not good when it comes to sea food. They also claim its better than Wey Wey too,hehehe...

On my own, i find yesterday's Kopak Jaya 007 fried chicken better,hehehe...also cheaper by about 80k rupiah on the bill too. Anyway, i arent the one paying. And i forget to collect the bill too.

After lunch, bring them all to BCS Mall to shop for an hour plus, to get their mobile phone screen protector changed and coffee in one of the restaurant before heading back to hotel. Send one of the uncle (uncle molest) off to Harbour Bay ferry terminal back to Singapore (due to work) and at the same time shopping at Bayfront mall for a bit buying some Kueh Lapis.

Evening time, head over to Zen at Harbour Bay on the Galaxy KTV building.

The remaining uncles and aunties with me got a shock at the pricing,hehehe...hence we turn back and head back to hotel.

Continue massage before heading to J8 food court for dinner. At this point, i didnt really took photos as this time round, food were mainly ala carte. No, i didnt ask them try the chicken wings,hehehe...due to them getting heatiness over all the fried food they had ate over the last few meals.

Next morning, buffet breakfast in hotel. All of them like me, took lots of porridge. See, whenever there are more than a certain number of rooms opened up in that hotel, there will be buffet breakfast, otherwise its menu order. Just like the breakfast we had yesterday. The hotel is full house on a Saturday and its Sunday.

We checked out early, left our luggage at the reception. Took the shuttle service to Nagoya Hill Mall to shop around further, bought what we needed and shuttled back to hotel. Walk over to Namii for a hair cut at 120k rupiah (cut and wash) and follow by some more foot reflexology in the same shop before walking back to hotel to claim our luggage.

Aunties and uncles continue to shop at Bayfront Mall for kueh lapis and some souvenirs etc, before home sweet home back to Singapore. That is so much for the 3D2N trip in Batam.

While waiting for departure hall to open up...ate a little something.

Nobody wants to be hungry when they reach Singapore,hehehe...

Penis for my thoughts this uncle/auntie Batam trip :

1. Do NOT let the 1st event of the trip dampen my mood, but look at things on the brighter side. My mood can affect others in the trip, just like positive mindset among these uncles and aunties can brighten mine. I have that choice to choose if my trip is going to be success or failure.

(example of a flash flood near Batam Center)

2. I will be looking for another hotel that is better than this one for my next uncle/auntie trip. Most probably around BCS area, i mean since most of the event happens within penuin area. But i kind of miss this hotel's good service,especially so with the driver.

3. Comparing Wey Wey, Kopak Jaya and Rezeki sea food meal, Rezeki still ranked top place. Next trip going to this restaurant is inevitable,hehehe...but on a personal note, i prefer Kopak Jaya.

4. Cheap food dont mean good food, fresh food dont mean better food either. The chef who cooks it matters a lot. No wonder in the past, so many in this thread were eyeing on Marine Live sea food. Now, i get a better understanding. (as the thread move forward, i am learning) Too bad, it closes down, otherwise i might just bring uncles and aunties there to try it out.

5. I learned that the REALLY rich people were more humble than those who "feels" that they were rich people,hehehe...the "feel-rich" people were those "NOT there", but yet wish to tell the world around them they were already there,hehehe...this trip, uncles and aunties shows their kind interest in wishing to do some charity work in Batam (in the near future). I am sourcing for this part as i type and i truly cannot believe my eyes when i actually found more than 13 orphanages in Batam (will some readers here again attempt to try to silence me if i start naming them out here 1 by 1? Hehehe...), and thats not counting in Maha Vihara Duta Maitreya Temple at Batam center.

6. They like the lucky temple,hehehe... 财神庙.Next trip will bring them to other temples. A handful of places i brought them to, they were unlikely to be able to come on their own.Tested with more than one taxi driver who didnt know about the place. Who knows, next trip i might just bring them to Cheng Ho Mosque,hehehe... or Pulau Galang?

Monday blue. Sillypore mkt also closed. Frankly if i am the okt i would test mkt, open early, 9 or 10 am.
