Just came back from Dalian. Really nothing much to shout about. Went to Alice club. As the gals earn the commission through drinks, good to ask the waiter to get one that can bring out for overnight instead of sitting inside to become robert.

Okay, my FR:

stayed in Kempinski in 解放路，中山区。

1st day arrived from Beijing (严打in progress, major KTVs still closed, even the fun ones which used to provide exciting games and lap-dances, had stopped their activities temporarily; expect everything to return to normal in another 3 months or more. Their party chief announced to the party recently to eradicate 歪风，therefore these measures are staying for a while).

1st night was tired after partying in Beijing the night before, therefore rested.

2nd night:
金碧辉煌
since it our 1st time in Dalian, thought of going to popular chain to be safe. PRs are a bit of disappointment although young from 19 - 26 yrs old. Decor quite nice, and price seems reasonable (until they added service and taxes at the end, will elaborate later). whisky at 880 per bottle (Chivas, black label), Hennessy at 980 per bottle; we ordered the package 3 bottles Hennessy package at 1580. mixers are free for 12 bottles. PR tips at 200, mm at 200, KJ at 200, waiter 100. nothing fancy, programs are as restricted as Beijing. I heard that Dalian is actually a town with stricter policing. However, still got da-bao available at 1500 overnight (including tips) - cheap as compared to the market rates elsewhere in China. We drank 2 packages, but they still charge some tax and the extra mixers we used. including tips for the mm, KJ, waiter - total 4400. there are 9 of us.

3rd night

MM name is 关丽。13904087115 - you can quote "the Singaporean who had supper with her and her group of PRs"
pricing about the same. this time we drank less. but no tax, surcharge or whatsoever. better quality of PRs. better rooms, nicer decor, better service. however, though da-bao available, but none of my guys got their wish, as the PRs they were with do not wish to oblige. I was too tired, did not ask mine. But i believe the rate should be the same. I would recommend this one than 金碧辉煌. but please do not quote me, as conditions may change in terms of MM and availability of PRs. 1 package of 3 bottles, plus 1 bottle stand alone order, mixers free, KJ, PRs, MM are all 200, waiter 100; total 3500 for 6 pax.

Did not go to pub, no time.

Warning - do not go to the spa 水疗房， next to the kempinski hotel. They are a rip-off!!! some guys went there, was quoted 880 for 1 session of 80 mins (if i recall correctly), ended up paying 1880 (they do not inform you that time's up for 1st session, continued to the 2nd session) with only HJ!! We all know that there are very frequent checks these days, and therefore these places do not dare to go overboard with their services, but this shop is ripping you off without warning you of what they are not going to provide at that given price! In shanghai a particular place I know provides special (the whole package) at 750 for 70 mins, and special + special (water room) service at 900 for 90 mins.
