Hello people, anyone remembers mIRC? Back in the days of GalaxyNet #teens where all the random people meet up, and sometimes if you are lucky enough, get sextisfied by the people you meet.

I have had my fair share of sexventures, meeting girls from all walks of life from mIRC during my teen years, not sure if SBF existed back then.

Will share random stuff in future posts, but welcome all bros from the mIRC era to share too

mIRC changed my generation in so many ways. We bought a desktop, applied for a 2nd home line so that we are not disconnected from the Internet when someone calls our house, upgraded the Internet speed to magix so that we can exchange MP3s.

It also served as a convenient way to meet people of the opposite sex from different parts of Singapore. Without mIRC, there is no way to get to meet such people in real life. Meeting a stranger without a handphone or pager is something the current youngsters cannot imagine. Meet you at City Hall control station at 1 pm. We meet based on faith you will turn up. If you didn't turn up, no idea of what to do next also besides going home. The concept is I will describe what top i am wearing with jeans. Then we go to Capitol for a movie before going to Satay club (padang) for dinner. Ok?

I had a simple target for the people I chat with. I will want to keep in touch via ICQ. This way I will not be waiting for strangers to log into mIRC, be in the same channels or expect strangers to use back the same nickname. Interestingly, our generation can remember numbers damn well. The home numbers for our friends and relatives, our icq numbers. Now the kids may not even remember the handphone numbers of their parents.

Cyberbullying already exists back in those days, but we don't take internet as srs bizness and just get along with life just fine.
