Since you grow up here, you should know about the famous chicken rice shop. Uncle and auntie has been selling here for easily 30 plus years. Closes at 3 pm.
The other shop is just next to this chicken rice shop.

Anyone else find that Bukit Merah joints are more catered for car drivers only? Spas there seem to be far from any bus stops, and use ample parking spaces as their selling point
