Two contributing factors:

1. Thursday and Friday are public holidays in Indonesia; many Batamians come to SG for holiday, today head back to Batam

2. 2-fingerprint system has been implemented at the manual immigration clearance counters, bringing about a longer clearance time per person. Ripple-effect. This is the main cause of delay IMO...

Queue stretch all the way to 7-11.

Horizon Ferries lady told me that yesterday's 9.35pm ferry only sailed off at 11plus yesterday.

They have added an extra ferry tonight, scheduled departure at 10.15pm, but I suspect it will depart at close to 11.30pm.

Average ferry delay today is 1-1.5 hours...
