let's congrats him of his big day this coming sunday. He will be married this Sunday 25 Jan 2015 @ Vietnam through my intro of vb.

He's turning 35 this year while his wife is 18 yr old.

A break down on the expenses

$4000 - Wedding dinner + Photo taking + Costume renting
$300 - For 3/4 mth basic mandarin course in vietnam
$700 - (A set of gold)
$250 x 4 = $1k (Allowance for his wife)
$2000 - (Ang Bao for me)
$600 - (Air Ticket for his wife parent to come to singapore to witness their married under singapore law as his wife is Abv 18 and below 21.

Total $8600

As his wife has not met the legal age to get married in singapore, We have to wait 4 mth.

I will not be going back this year as my wife is giving birth in a mth time.

Brides agencies is looking at sundown. Last year the most important man in this country cramp down the % of PR. It so happen mine colleague was hit, his VN wife visas is rejected.

Although his divource is finalised, due to this new regulation he is screw. Actually I agreed with this crampdown. He is not paying child maintenance yet he had $10k to marry a SYT bride.
