i think you have mistaken, I'm referring to a threat to USS (Universal studio singapore) & not SG. If you log in to youtube & view the whole mock up plan design structure of HappyLand, you will understand what I mean. FYI, MJ father Joe jackson was also one of the investor & partial design was mirroring the 'Happyland' which MJ owned at his residencial.

you have travel to vietnam for long enough ... how many tourists actually visit such theme parks in Vietnam ...

takes for example .. a theme park in bangkok .. not much foreigner as well .. I aslo strongly believe not much peolpe actually knew there is a theme park in bangkok ...

Look at DaiNam itself ... Place is damn big .. When I visited there .. omg ... probably I am the only foreigner if not a very handful of them ...

Take for another example, there is a place called malagui theme forest park .. not much foreigner as well ... out of places ...

ANother example is Soui Tien Theme Park ... I have not been there .. but who can share how many foreigners actually visited this place ?

Last example I can think of is Dam Sen Theme Park .. WHen I was there .. probably me and my buddy is the only 2 foreigner if not a handful of us ...

Yes .. Vietnam Need tourism .. thats for sure ... and the economic already proofed that it Need tourism to boost the economic ... but i strongly believe foreigner who visit vietnam will rather travel around and visit place like cu chi . mekong delta and etc rather than travel to visit a theme park ...

YEs unless it like disneyland standard in Hong kong and Japan .. else I see no attraction of foreigner to their place.

I work for a tourism industry before and I promotes places in vietnam for people who travels into vietnam .. so i roughly knows what people are looking for in vietnam ..

Yes because in Nha Trang itself, Vinpearland is probably 1 of the few tourist of attraction .... so peolpe who go to Nha Trang will probably have to visit that place.

You cannot only visit 1 place and u are so sure that all tourists attraction will be the same across Vietnam.

For example, not sure u have heard of .. CAble CAr in Tay Ninh to go up the mountain .. can take u 3-4 hrs of waiting .. so whats your Nha Trang's 1 hr of wait .. and this place is not that well known and then not much foreigner ... because simply Tay Ninh is not a tourists attraction. People go to tay ninh because it is near to cu chi .. people en-route to the place to see the Cao Dai Temple and if possible go to the mountain.

YEs I do agree it has to attract foreigner but then how many foreigner is willing to go ...

Dun be surprise people in VN is rich enough to go ... dun look down on them ...

Seriously how many places of attraction have you been to judge that Theme park can really attracts foreign tourists ?

What I want to say is a theme park in Vietnam will not be a treat to SG USS or whatever. Most tourists to Vietnam are not because of theme park, they are there for the scenery, the culture. Example, to choose between theme park and Ha long Bay, the choice is easy. Most will want to go Ha long Bay. A theme park in Vietnam is just another bonus spot to visit and not a must visit unless this is Disneyland.

relaxed leh, I'm only referring to what I have seen in Vinpearland which is what I so called 'High end theme park', I also been to what you mentioned 'dam sen theme park' , I agreed there are more local than foreigner
simply because the place was just like our old 'new world' amusement park & entry ticket was cheap, how to compare with Vinpearlland.

bro, I been to Soui Tien 4 months ago. That time only see 2 ang mo and me are the only foreigners. My opinion is it is more like a theme park that attracts the local. Full of Vietnam flavors and unlike our USS.

Last time, I take the cable car in Tay Ninh no need to wait leh. But I do heard that during New Year, mountain people mountain sea and need to wait very very very long.

by the way, the operation start date for Happyland is 24th April 2014. With their construction pace, just make me wonder will they complete it by then or delay the start date or open partially
