Some parts like your VB says she knows what you are thinking reasonates. My Vb also says she always knows what I am thinking, when in fact, most of the time she is wrong.

actually she wasn't correct all the time also. sometimes i just act one bcuz i realize she can read body language quite well. so act and tell story is my defense.

The vb also told me to buy a bottle of red wine for her pa pa is enough. Now I start to doubt it.

Why do they always say such things as sell us off? PRC and VB same same leh. Seems like going back in time when ma ma threatens to sell me off when I refuses to comply to her wishes.

maybe that's their culture. my fren told me their culture is they won't tell you what they want but you must know what they want. but actually just give some money like 200-500kd to her parents each is enough la.

about selling us off thing. maybe it's meant to be a joke. BUT i dont think we can take it for granted. they might tell it in a joking way so that we will let our guard down. we still have to be careful.

I only stayed in Vn for a year. Was surrounded by English speaking Vnese then, so there was no urgency to learn Tieng Viet.
