usually I book few weeks or one month before, if choose some not so popular time slot, can be as cheap as below S$100.

just realised there is a new time slot for tiger, return leg back to singapore after midnight, is like less than $20 for that leg

i realise vnam gals don't really like beach reasort in vnam, may be due to hot sun. they prefer mountain/cool places like Dalat, "Hui" or Sapa

but i like beaches, tried Vung Tau and Nha Trang this year. of course compare to some world class beaches around SEA like M'sia and Thailand, vnam beach resorts still less commericial, not much night activities and etc.

will try phu quoc and mui ne next year ..... happy happy, cheap and good

Hi guys... one of my friend is deeply in love with one Vietnamese WL who used to work in a KTV joint in GL.
He visited her twice since March, and now she's persuading him to invest in a house & land in her hometown near HCMC.

According to her, the house and land will cost only ~10-12K Sing dollars, which I really doubted it.

Can any kind bro advise?
Is it really this cheap?

P/S: He's my good buddy but sad that he thinking with his small head now. Just want to caution him but must get facts first.

Its not a matter of investing 10-12k .... Its a matter of WHY ??? Its a matter of WHO She is ? Its a matter of Whether worthwhile to go till such an extend ??? Any intention to get married ????

HOw well your friend know her and her family? HOw well does he know about Vietnam Cultures and etc etc ...

You have to caution him alot of things NOT only this ....

As mentioned by another. Why will he wants to invest?? How long and close they are? Does he knows her well? Lastly, I still dun understand how SG men think. Although SG men might be rich but why will someone invest in property which he has no share to it?

I have a friend who invested more than 50k to a new house n new furniture, even air con the whole house but end of the day, the house still belong to another person. The worst, the ger n him broke off shortly after. My friend lost heart n money. The ger proudly won a new fully furnished house and 1 of the better house in the village.

Maybe I should provide more background info...

He's a married man but childless.
Get to know her approx. 6-7 months.
Visited her 2X at HCMC.
His excuse: wants a baby but wife seems unable to conceive (stupid reason I know)
They msn almost daily... and listens to VN music in his car (even when wife is beside him), so I guess his wife also aware of what's going on.

Now go KTV act holy stay solo... say if his VN wife know will scold him!?

Best of all... they even take wedding pictures together!

To be true... I've no fxxking idea why he's investing

He say he liked the calm and less stressful lifestyle... and also the opportunites of starting a BUILDING business there... cos the land and house is so CHEAP!

Whether he's able to registered as the owner of the house... that I don't know

gone case liao la, read too many similar stories ...

most of the end results, ... he won't listen to any advice from friends or even senior brothers here

so, let him be, as long as he is happy, he has money, what is few Ks to him, he will learn the lesson

or may be it might turn up to be a good ending for him

just advise him one thing, play can but remember to go home to fulfill his responsbility as a husband

I hope you are not referring to yourself...

Cheap cheap...really how cheap...if 10-15k is not alot of money...end of the day the money is still with the ger...he may not even get to see the house when he was ditched and conned...dun think he even knew what's going on when he passed over the money...everything can be staged...ie. house, owner, landlord or seller, builder, etc...

my famouns quote "if you trust a WL then pigs also can climb trees"...
