I don't believe in calling in or emailing ICA. What i recieve will be standard answers.

Last time 2 sbf bros applied PR for their bx and waited 9 mth for the positive news.

My frd BX got PR just 6.5 Months from their ROM. 1st application got rejected. 2nd application got approved after he went down to talk to ICA Sup. This was few years ago. He had high income and stay in a Condo own by him.

I start applying PR for my bx only one year after she get the LTVP+.
I low income and own alot condom... Jaik lat lah.

When i asked my wife to apply for SC in 2009, she was quite unwilling. Her idea is if one day in the future, she is no longer with me and had to go back to VN, it will be very troublesome for her to stay there. She will have to apply for VISA for longer term stay. After much discussion, she agreed. The process was simple , with the only exception of Vietnamese Embassy in Singapore. The forms they require my BX to fill up was not easy to understand and they were quite unwilling to assist. When we were there at the embassy, there was this other viet spouse filling up the forms and she had great difficulties too.

Nevertheless, we never looked back. Been 6 years since my BX got SC.

really notice this trip some vn guys start drinking very early in day. even my current gf father can start to drink around 11am...

In Singapore also have drinkers start in the morning. Not surprising. Unless u never go to kopitiam.

In VN, early morning go road side cafe to drink coffee first. Talk to some cafe gals, hug hug a bit. Then before noon time, start drinking till late night. This is their lifestyle, no need to work, just ask Viet Kieu or foreigner SIL for money. Like what the other bro mentioned, Singapore kopitiam also got lots of uncles start drinking from early morning. Some of them can just sit there all day, everyday to drink from early morning and the only thing they do is to talk on their mobile phone and say `how much you want to borrow?'
