No Micro Sim in vn. You buy normal SIM and ask them to cut for u. I always do that when in vn. Just tell them you buy for Iphone 3G usage will do. They should know.

Thanks to all bros that had given me advices!

Just got back to SG few hours ago, everything was smooth in Vietnam for past 8 days. Fatter by 2KG somemore

Quite tired many traveling around this 8 days and the WTFWTFWTF rainrainrain

(
SG-> HCM (sleeper coach, phuong trang) -> Rach Gia -> An Giang (ride my bx motor) -> Long Xuyen (ride my bx motor) -> Rach Gia (aeroplane) -> HCM -> SG

Will drop in more times to times to seek help as i am preparing for wedding come dec 2012.

Not WTF rain rain, it should be WTF lam tinh. Most bros are attracted by the lam tinh session , so quickly get married. After marrying, find it not so interesting afterall and cracks appear

looks like you travel quite a bit...more than you ever drive as a taxi driver in sinkie...haha...rach gia to long xuyen is no joke on xe om...aroung 4 to 5 hours...

if I understand you correctly...you are saying the child is in Vn then let child learn english there...coming here to sinkie is not easy with ICA and on your wallet...unless the child is your own kid...

how old is the child??...too young then need to get private tutor...

child can even sit for TOEFL exam in HCM or Hanoi...

Like what Bro H88 said, you got to differentiate between your own child or not.

There are many English schools in VN, offering basic english to advanced English. Many of these english schools employ Vietnamese who hold BA in English and also some retired SWM from aborad. The problem is, the BA in English graduates in Vietnam often can write well, but cannot speak fluently. There's no english speaking enviornment there in VN. The fees for English course also varies drastically, from a mere 650K VND a month a few hundred USD a month.

If you want to bring the Viet child to Singapore, you got to work out your expenses. Besides the school fees, the accommodation and food and also occasional flying back to VN a few times a year. But what Singapore offers is the environment for speaking and learning english, which is not available in VN. Its not difficult to get student pass in Singapore, just the cost that's involved.

thanks bro...I dun answer in full is because the questions so vague and I had so many questions in my mind...all these you had mentioned are irrelevant if child is unrelated to him...
