Yeah .. fully agree on that ..... it more like knowledge and application rather actual speaking ... not easy .... need constant speaking ... BX / GF is the best ... I pick up alot from her and the family members ...

just to check for those apply PR for your spouse, which place you go to do the english translation for the original documents in vietnemese in singapore?

And how long it takes and how much that it costs?

Also i am a bit confused on the procedure for the PR application.
It seems that we only need to book the date and time though the e-appointment system without filling any forms. Is it true? Or we fill the particulars on the spot on the date we have chosen?

Hope somebody can enlighten me.

Translation of documents ... Vietnam Embassy ... Original Documents Needed , $30 per pcs .... approx 3 days ...

Is any of the bros' wife working in Spore? I'm trying to get my gf to quit ktv job but then, must have a job.

I know it's hard for viet to get work permit unless he/she is a PR / graduate, but just wondering whether there's any bro here has experience that we can take as a reference / guide?

bro,you have to book a date through the ica website which they call e appointment.they will not entertain any walk in and strictly appointment only.nowadays book a date for the appointment is very fast cos now get PR is very difficult cos they want to lower down the number of ppl granting PR status so a lot of ppl just try few time and give up so a lot of available date.

u still need to fill in a application form (pink colour one) to submit to them on your appointment date with those document.u can get the form on the 4th floor (if i am not wrong)information counter for PR application my advise is go down to ica to take one form back few days before your appointment date to fill in first cos there is a lot of bloody thing to fill in and i dont think u have the time to fill in when u reach on that appointment date.it will also enclose a check list of those document u need to bring for that day

If she is your wife, she can apply work permit to work , If she is NOT, then dun waste time .... unless she is with certain education and a willing good company to sponsor her ...

I have a friend's GF who is working here is Llee Hwa as sales assistant ,.....

If there's a lot of documents to be translated, you can do it in HCM also. Its much cheaper. After translation, use DHL to courier here. But if onloy a few documents, Vietnam embassy will be the place.
